c o m m i s s i o n My creative 🪡 mind is very firmly set in autumn 🍂 right now and I’ve been sewing with the loveliest chocolate browns, berry reds and terracottas. So it was a joy to be commissioned to create this striped ruffle drum for my lovely customer @lifeatchurchfarm ! We found just the right shade of cocoa from the @thepureedit collection so that these stripes really sing. Love how it looks with the beautiful blues of this living room. Find your perfect fabric and send me a dm to discuss how I might turn it into a bespoke lampshade for your home, in as little as 3 weeks. pictured 16” ruffle drum duplex for pendant & lamp #thepureeditfabric #handsewnlampshades #stripes #cocoabrown #rufflelampshades

This is what can happen when you already have the ideas — but just need a little help getting started. My client created this lovely sitting room herself, and I’m very happy to say I played a small part in helping her get going. We spent a few hours together at Chelsea Design Centre exploring fabrics, colours and possibilities. She already knew what she liked; our session was really about narrowing things down, bouncing ideas around and giving her the confidence to move forward. And she certainly did! She’s since transformed her kitchen, sitting room and dining room, combining some of the ideas we explored that day with plenty of her own. And I have a feeling there are plenty more rooms to come. Swipe to see where it started — a floor full of samples at the end of our Chelsea Design Session. She’s now documenting her renovation over at @lifeatchurchfarm — definitely one to follow. You don’t need to hand your project over to a designer to benefit from working with one. If you have plenty of ideas but need some help pulling them together, my Guided Design Sessions at Chelsea Harbour are designed for exactly this. More details via the link in my bio.
