My hobbies include reading, mostly horror books, writing horror stories, collecting far too many books, drinking a questionable amount of coffee and wondering how ordinary situations can become significantly more terrifying. That’s normal right? What are your hobbies?

World Photography Day 📸✨

Today feels like the perfect day to introduce a new little piece of magic to my camera bag.

I picked up some @retropiacam gear for my Canon R50 V, and I’m already excited to see what happens when I pair modern digital technology with that nostalgic, imperfect, disposable-camera feel. 🥹📷

Photography has never been about making everything perfect for me. It’s about capturing a feeling, a moment, a texture, a memory — and sometimes the imperfections are what make the image feel alive.

So here’s to experimenting, playing, getting weird with the camera, and continuing to see the world through my own lens.

Happy World Photography Day. 🖤

So much fruit at the @GreenCityMarket right now. Time to make muffins!

A little jolly look at these cute but bonkers notebooks!
Something a bit different, but perfect if you know someone who drives a tractor, a car (!), plays an instrument- or has a skateboarding dog…

Which is your favourite?

Last day for Valley of the Kings! To me this colorway is a gorgeous sunset over the desert and I’m obsessed. Head over to @thefrostedstitch for the true color photos and to pick up a skein of your own before it scampers away!

1 weekend. 130°F. 739 photos later… ☀️🤍

I transformed my balcony into the cozy little hygge retreat I’ve been dreaming about. Every blanket, lantern, pillow, and warm glow was chosen to create a space that feels like a deep breath at the end of the day.

This is your reminder that you don’t need a huge backyard or a luxury patio to create a peaceful outdoor oasis. A small balcony can become your favorite place for morning coffee, evening tea, reading, journaling, or simply slowing down.

Welcome to my little corner of cozy. 🕯️☕📚

Would you spend an evening here?
