Grief has shown up more than I expected in the first three months of 2026, saying goodbye to beautiful souls and watching people I love carry unimaginable loss. Some moments just stop you in your tracks.

And yet, every morning my eyes open I’m reminded that simply being here is still a gift. My health. My community. The love that surrounds me, even in the hardest moments.

Somehow grief and gratitude exist in the same breath.

In the middle of all of it, life took me back to Cape Town, a place where the earth vibrates beneath your feet and shooting stars remind you how vast and magical this world still is and will always continue to be. ✨ ❤️‍🩹

Last night was pure magic! Watching Cebo share his dream for Sky Full of Elephants with the world filled me with so much pride and love. He has worked so hard for this moment, all while being the most devoted dad to our twin girls, doing bedtimes, school drop offs, everything in between.
