POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As I close out the year, I keep coming back to one thing. Community.

The past four and a half years in Houston have been shaped by friendships. Birthdays and concerts, workdays and celebrations, quiet moments and loud laughter, Baxter’s 10th birthday party, and friends who show up fully knowing how dramatic I am and loving me anyway.

From chosen family here to lifelong friendships that still hold me steady, every relationship in this carousel mattered.

This is who I am, because of who I walk with.

🩷We are 35 weeks today!🩷

Which means we only have 35 days or less left until baby Aura makes her appearance! She’s measuring 2 weeks ahead at a whopping 6lbs 10oz😳😬 and she already has the most perfect set of chubby little cheeks🥰 I’m beyond excited and super anxious to get all of the last minute things on our to-do list checked off.

Today I tackled her blanket and clothing storage, since she will be sleeping in a bedside bassinet in our bedroom for the first several months of her life, I needed somewhere to keep her extra blankets, bassinet sheets and clothing for middle of the night changes.

My favorite part about this project is the little candy jar I found to store her socks, scratch mittens, hats and bows! Would you believe me if I told you I got it at the @dollartree ?!😉

The next item on the list of things to do is tackling our bedside nursery cart, which I’ll be working on tomorrow! Stay tuned!🩷

Words can’t even describe how blown away at what an amazing job @torijeanrobinson did on our Maternity shoot! The creativity and dedication she shows while shooting is incredible! Thank you so much @trobinson_photography ! We can’t wait to do family photos with you when little Miss Aura arrives!

If anyone of you need any photos done, get on her books! She’s great at taking your vision and capturing it with her lens!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that came out to help us celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby Apollo! He is loved so much already and we are so excited to meet him❤️ A special thank you to @chelseakalynych for being the most amazing host and helping me bring my vision to life. To my little sister @ravyndunomes for helping me with the preparations and planning, oh and we can’t forget about how she owned documenting our day, even with an allergy attack hitting her full force. My parents Maisha @butrflykissd and Paris/Megan @mrs_dunomes for helping us set up and wrangle the rest of the clan while we got everything put together. And to the rest of our friends and family that came and loved on us for the day. We are so appreciative and couldn’t have asked for a better turnout! I can’t express my gratitude enough, we love you guys!❤️

Now all that’s left to do is wait for baby AJ! Any guesses on his due date? We’re making and taking wagers😂

Since we’re gearing up for D-day, I started a new snack station for the kiddos and I wanted to share it with all of my busy mommy friends out there! It’s already freed up time for me to get other things done around the house! and after baby gets here, if they get hungry and I’m stuck in the rocker nursing, they don’t have to wait for me to finish and I don’t have to feel anxious for the feeding to be over either! Everything is within arms reach and they have tons of healthy options to chose from! It’s been a really great addition to our meal time routine! How do you organize and plan snack time at your house? Do you have a snack station like we do?
