🇧🇪 DAY 7 | BELGIUM

Today we continue the 51 Nations Prayer Movement by praying for Belgium.

Our prayer is centered on the salvation of souls across Europe. Let us believe God for open hearts, a powerful move of the Gospel, a great harvest of souls, and the strengthening of believers who will boldly make disciples.

“Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
— Psalm 2:8

Prayer Focus

Pray for the salvation of souls throughout Belgium.

Pray that the knowledge of God and His Christ will fill the nation as the waters cover the sea.

Pray that the Gospel will move unhindered across Belgium, bringing about a great harvest of souls.

Pray for revival across Europe.

Pray that God will awaken and empower believers in Belgium for the work of soul winning and disciple-making.

Pray for the government of Belgium.

One Continent. One Mission. One Hope.

We just got some honey from my friend Darrell Wardlaw! He is a Smyrna beekeeper, and says his harvest is abundant this summer! Darrell is setting aside all profits from his honey sales to fund his own mission trips to Brazil, as well as funding other missionaries (including our daughter Sydney Arnold and her husband Landon Arnold, who will be entering the mission field in Brussels later this year)! Delicious and great for allergies, but most importantly, your purchase will help to spread the Gospel.

Brussels photo dump pt. 1 “I can’t think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything.” – Bill Bryson I can honestly say that I will never forget that place, or those people. Each memory is so precious to me, and I know I will bring them with me wherever I go.

Give me the honest, longing, diverse communities of faith. Give me the women from 14 countries, fluent in English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Yoruba, Romanian, Greek, Indian. Give me the hopeful tears, the unfinished stories, the praying mothers, the forest walks, the taboo subjects, the working women. Give me all of these and I will simply say; “The Holy Spirit comes wherever desired. His presence restores our souls.”

“I am going to ask that the consciousness of His presence with you may be constant and very sweet. I know the difference this makes. But you are not a child in Him; you have passed the point where that is needful. You know Him near, with you and in you. Joy though it be to be conscious of that blessed One, the great thing is not my feeling, but His fact. So if there are fogs on the sea on any day or any night-still all's well.”

-Amy Carmichael, Candles in the Dark

Starting today, @lifeptstudents are being sent out across the world for the glory of God and the good of His people. Would you pray that God would work through these students and leaders, and that they would share the Gospel boldly? Would you pray for the people that they come in contact with, that the Holy Spirit would open hearts to receive the best news ever? Would you pray that they would share hope like they were made of it? I can’t wait to see what God is going to do!

Got to paint a mural on a wall at @lifeptbru this past week. It was an honor to be able to add some life to the once empty walls.
