Right now we're in the midst of a "global pause".  Its cause is not one we'd have chosen, yet in forcing us to slow down, it holds a silent invitation to rethink how we're 'doing life' and reconnect to what matters most. Sure, your plans have unraveled and events have been canceled. But your friendships have not been canceled. Your family has not been canceled. Internet access to educate yourself has not been canceled. Acts of kindness, reading books, playing board games, learning guitar, writing letters, baking triple chocolate fudgecake, or making that 'dream board' you've never had time for... not canceled. If you are currently experiencing disappointment, pain or frustration because something did not work out the way you hoped it would. So yes, embrace your uncertainty. You are human. Connect to your vulnerability and our common humanity... but most of all, use this time well! Nothing is more important today than prioritizing what makes you feel more grounded in yourself and expands your bandwidth for life - to meet each moment ahead with more faith, less fear. Whatever it is that did not work out, I understand that the pain might be unbearable right now, but it will be lighter, it will be easier to carry and soon you will be happier than you have ever been before, I promise. You've got this. I've got this. We've got this. I want you to hear this: If it was not meant to be, there is something out there that is. begin by loving your complexion, your countenance, the way you speak, laugh, and walk, by accepting you have flaws and imperfections. Let's role model the courage we'd like to see in those around us.  Let's not waste this adversity, but use it in ways that set us up - individually and collectively as a society - to one day look back on this period for the gifts we found in it.There are many. #thoughts #goodvibes #motivation #mindset #imatter #mentalhealthmatters #vision #dream #goodtimes #goodquotes #qoutesoftheday #qoutesaboutlife #life #selflove #selfcare #selfrespect #selfthought #writersofinstagram #writingcommunity #instagram #instagood #instadaily #following
