Blue Moon Too has been a Fed Hill staple for years. Now they’re being forced out by their landlord. The good news is they’re reopening in Hampden’s next April. But they shouldn’t have to!

This keeps happening to Baltimore’s small businesses, and it won’t stop until we change the rules.

Join us at our town hall on Monday, 10/12 @ 6 PM to talk about how we protect the businesses that make our neighborhoods worth living in. Swipe for details!

Baltimoreans, did you know about the this? 😱

Listen as @therichunkle_tru breaks down how disinvestment over time affects our communities, and in Baltimore it even has a name, it’s called the “Black Butterfly,” and the “White L.”

Imagine if local small businesses were able to utilize some of the vacant storefronts for small businesses, and those small businesses become the foundation of those forgotten communities. 🤔

Did you know about the “Black Butterfly?” 🦋

Can one man be the reason a neighbor in Baltimore is bad for business, 🤔 well that’s the question @baltimorebanner asked when discovering that there’s one real estate property owner that owns several commercial properties that’s become an eyesore to one community, and @bmoresmallbizrights is looking to change this behavior.

Born & raised in Northeast D.C. ❤️🖤

H Street Day is more than just a festival, it’s community, culture, memories, and history. 🏙️✨

My grandparents owned Walker’s Carryout at 1224 H Street NE, so this neighborhood is personal for me.

I grew up in the Capitol Hill area, and seeing H Street filled with people, music, food, and memories brought me right back to where it all started. 🥹❤️

From Walker’s Carryout to The Fishing School, Horace & Dickies, Hechinger Mall, Checkers on 14th, and the old Rosedale, these places are pieces of the D.C. I know and love.

This is my little H Street Day recap + a glimpse into my family history and why I love my community so much. 🫶🏽

Born & raised D.C. and proud of it! 🏙️❤️

What old-school H Street/NE D.C. memory do YOU remember? 👇🏽
