A festival ends, but the stories stay. 🎬

Being part of the Lebanese Independent Film Festival 2026 Jury was a truly special experience — discovering new talents, watching powerful stories come to life, and sharing a space with people who believe deeply in cinema.

Some decisions were difficult, some films stayed in my mind long after the credits rolled, and every screening reminded me of the passion it takes to create.

Grateful to LIFF 2026 for the trust, the experience, and the memories.

To every filmmaker: never stop telling your story.
Cinema needs your voice. 🎥✨

Some experiences stay with you long after the lights go down. 🎬

Being part of the Lebanese Independent Film Festival 2026 Jury was one of those experiences.

Days of watching, listening, discovering, discussing, and making difficult choices — but above all, days of witnessing how much talent, courage, and creativity exists within independent cinema.

For me, being on the jury was never only about choosing. It was about appreciating the work behind every frame, every performance, every sound, and every story.

Thank you to the LIFF family for the trust and this beautiful opportunity, and to every filmmaker who shared a piece of their world with us.

I leave this experience inspired, grateful, and even more connected to the art of cinema.

Until the next frame. 🎥

What an incredible experience. 🎬
Being part of the Lebanese Independent Film Festival 2026 Jury was more than an honor it was an opportunity to discover new voices, witness bold ideas, and experience the passion of filmmakers who continue to tell stories despite every challenge.
Watching, discussing, evaluating, and making some very difficult decisions reminded me once again why I fell in love with cinema in the first place. Every film carries a piece of its creator, and this year brought remarkable talent, different perspectives, and powerful new ways of expressing stories through the screen.
I’m truly grateful to the LIFF team for their trust and for giving me the opportunity to be part of this journey, and I congratulate every filmmaker who participated, whether nominated or not. Keep creating. Keep experimenting. Keep telling your stories.
It was a beautiful chapter in my journey, and one I’ll proudly remember.
Thank you, @liff 2026. 🎥❤️
