Friday night was a reminder of why Let It Flow has lasted this long. The poetry, karaoke, laughter, conversations, food, and energy in the room made it feel like more than just a show. Thank you to everyone who came out, touched the mic, sang a song, brought somebody with them, or simply sat back and enjoyed the moment. We appreciate you for continuing to give Let It Flow a place to call home. ❤️🎤

Now we move into Chapter 21, Episode 3.

🍂 WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR? 🍂

Join us Friday, November 20th at the House of Playokee for another night of Poetry, Karaoke, good food, great people, and positive energy.

This month we’re featuring STARSKI, former host of Live and Direct. Starski brings the type of presence that comes from years of being connected to the culture, the microphone, and the people. As an artist and host, he understands how to command a room while still making the audience feel like they are part of the experience. We’re excited to give him the Let It Flow stage and let him do what he does. 🔥🎙️

Hosted by yours truly, Elijah Brown

Every morning we wake up is another opportunity to become better than we were yesterday. ☀️

You may not have accomplished everything you wanted. You may still be figuring things out, overcoming obstacles, or rebuilding parts of your life. But guess what? You’re still here, and that means your story is still being written.

Stop allowing yesterday’s disappointments to steal today’s possibilities.

Celebrate the small victories. Appreciate the lessons. Give yourself grace when things don’t go as planned.

Remember, progress isn’t always about how far you’ve traveled. Sometimes it’s about having the courage to take another step.

Today is more than another date on the calendar. It’s another opportunity to make a difference, inspire someone, and become a better version of yourself.

Don’t just count your days. Make your days count! ❤️

Sometimes life can start feeling like one long routine. Wake up. Work. Handle responsibilities. Go home. Sleep. Repeat.

We work so hard trying to provide, survive, and build a better life that we can forget the most important part… actually living it.

A job should help support your life, not become your entire life. Make time for the people you love, the things that bring you peace, the dreams you keep putting off, and the moments you can never get back.

Don’t spend so much time making a living that you forget to live.

Never forget where you came from while you’re working toward where you’re going. Success should never make us strangers to the communities that helped shape us. Give back. Speak up. Educate. Protect. Lead. Sometimes the greatest thing we can do with what we’ve learned is bring it back home and help somebody else move forward.

You don’t turn your back on your community. Know your rights. Know your worth. Know your responsibility. ✊🏾

Rotator cuff arthroscopic surgery is officially behind me. 🙏🏾 Now the healing and the work begin.

8/30/26 marks my first day working out again. Nothing crazy, just light work, listening to my body, and getting myself moving as I prepare to begin physical therapy.

I’m praying for healthy healing, patience through the process, and the strength to keep progressing the right way. The goal is to hopefully be back bowling by December. 🎳💪🏾

New year, same me. Still goal driven. Still focused. Still working on multiple projects. Still pushing myself to grow mentally, physically, creatively, and professionally.

I’m not competing with anybody else. Ultimately, the goal is simple: be a better me than I was yesterday.

One day at a time. One rep at a time. One project at a time. One step closer.
