Never thought I’d do a cycle class on the rooftop of Churchill Downs!

@liftedcycle made this totally out of the box idea a reality on Friday night and it was SO COOL.

There was a live DJ playing jams throughout the entire 45-minute class which honestly helped me stay motivated.

Well that along with the insane view overlooking the iconic spires at the track. Wowza.

This was my first class with Lifted and it was a joyous experience. The positivity, support, and encouragement made me feel so welcome.

Shoutout to Kelly, the owner, for chatting with me in the bathroom nonchalantly. And to Olivia the instructor for her infectiously hyped attitude.

What an experience!

The holiday season is known as “The Season of Giving” and there’s no better way of giving than giving back to your community.

On December 5th, Fleet Feet Louisville will be partnering with Sleep In Heavenly Peace to build beds for children in need, but we need help from our run community!

We are looking for 12-15 volunteers to help build and potentially deliver beds.

These beds will be for kids experiencing bedlessness whether sleeping on floors, couches, or in other inadequate or unsafe conditions.

What a fun and unique way to work those muscles! LIFTED Cycle + Strength took over Churchill Downs. We worked the iron “Silent Disco” style while the cycle class peddled their hearts out. Loved starting my weekend this way! 💪🏼

THREE YEARS LATER… I’M BACK. 💜✨

For three years, the stage was something I kept at a distance. Life happened, I grew, and somewhere along the way, I knew I wasn’t finished with this part of me.

So I made the decision to come back — quietly. Only a handful of people knew what I was working toward. No announcements, no expectations. Just me, a goal, and the commitment to see it through.

This prep challenged me in ways I can’t fully put into words, but it reminded me of something I never want to forget: you can step away from something you love without losing the part of you that loves it. 🔥

To my coach, my family, my friends, and especially my husband — thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and standing beside me through every part of this journey. Having you in my corner made this comeback that much more meaningful. 💜

Stepping back on stage was about more than a competition. It was about showing up for myself again, reconnecting with a part of me I’ve always loved, and proving that sometimes the best things are worth coming back to.

Three years later, I finally found my way back. And I’m so glad I did. 🏆
