The WPA World Championship 2025 left an incredible impression.
Excellent organization, precise schedule, top-level judging, and the amazing friendliness of everyone around — athletes, spectators, and the organizing team. Everything took place in an atmosphere of respect and true sports brotherhood.

My preparation for this competition was far from easy. I was training to compete in the full powerlifting event, aiming to break my personal squat record of 300 kg and achieve a new total. But just a week before the competition, something unexpected happened — a heart attack. I had to completely change my plans and focus only on the bench press.

The bench, of course, wasn’t a personal record for me — but it became a European record😊
In the end, I set two European records: first a new one, and then broke my own again with the fourth attempt.
Right now, I hold a GPC world record and a WPA European record.

This is the first competition after which I’m truly satisfied with myself.
First, I’m just happy that I managed to compete at all.
And second, that everything went smoothly — no health issues and some solid numbers on the bar 🙂

We also had the chance to showcase the best powerlifting equipment in the world — @powergear.me ,
gain the support of amazing athletes and officials from different countries, and proudly support the championship as sponsors.

A huge thank-you to the organizers @the.szilard and @wpa_hungary for the warm welcome and all the hard work — I know how challenging it was.
You’re doing something truly great! 🙌

Thank you, @hungarikumliget, for providing perfect conditions to host such a major competition — a spacious and clean venue, a huge area, great accommodation, and excellent food — everything was top-notch.

Massive thanks to my team for their support, and to the most important person — my wife @tattoo.boka ,
for always being by my side… and for never knocking me out 😁

And thank you to my favorite gym - @terzo_gym for the perfect conditions to prepare and train.

Now it’s time for a long break to focus on my health.
But I’m not saying goodbye — new kilos are still ahead!💪🏼 да
