Don’t become so familiar with where you expect God to move that you miss Him moving somewhere unexpected.

He can use any place, anyone, and any moment to reveal His presence. And trust that He will do great things! 🧎🏽‍♀️📸

☕️🤍 I have to share a little place in Baton Rouge that has completely stolen my heart. Light House Coffee. If you know me, you know I love a good matcha, and theirs is one of my favorites! Between the coffee, the food, and the cozy atmosphere, I pretty much find an excuse to stop in every single day I’m here. But what makes this place so special to me has nothing to do with what’s in my cup. It’s their mission. ❤️

Light House Coffee is about so much more than coffee. It’s about opening doors, creating opportunities for refugees and displaced individuals, and making people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

I would LOVE to create something like this in Northern Virginia one day. Just putting that out there… and saying a little prayer. 🙏🏼

There’s so much hate, division, and evil in this world. But for every act of evil trying to tear us apart, I pray there are even more acts of goodness bringing us back together.

Because at the end of the day, isn’t that what God wants from us? To love one another, lift each other up, show compassion, and be a light in someone else’s life.

More love. More kindness. More purpose. More light. ✨

If you’re ever in Baton Rouge, please visit this special place. You’ll leave with more than a good cup of coffee. 🤍

Heading back out this fall with Will Reagan and Ivan Theva to continue our experiment in alternative live music experiences. LOW production. LESS ‘performers’ on stage, MORE everyone in a room together. NO preaching, NO persuasion - just being together and trusting that our Lord’s peace is accessible.. when we slow down.. when we wait. When we let it be awkward. When we allow for silence.
Come join us!
