“You know anything about technology?” If you said yes, congratulations. You’re the new media director. 😅
It happens in churches every Sunday. Someone gets drafted onto the media team because they were standing near the soundboard, and nobody hands them anything but a mic cable and a prayer.
No training. No plan. Just “service starts at 10:30.”
That’s exactly why I wrote Building Your Church Media Team: What I Wish Someone Had Told Me.
It’s a practical, pastor-to-pastor guide for small churches working with limited budgets and limited volunteers. Inside, you’ll learn:
✅ How to recruit volunteers and keep them coming back
✅ Why good audio comes before video (and what to fix first)
✅ How to give new volunteers a real place to start
✅ How to build a team that actually shows up, from your teenagers to your seniors
Whether you’re starting a media team from scratch or trying to strengthen the one you have, this book gives your volunteers a road map instead of a guessing game.
Don’t let your next media director learn everything the hard way.
