Today is my firstborn son Nathaniel’s birthday. He would have turned 5 years old. 🤍 Losing him changed every part of my life. It was the hardest season I’ve ever walked through, but it was also the season that brought me closer to God. In my grief, I found hope, purpose, and eventually the inspiration to create LightMe Candle. To most people, a candle is just a candle. To me, it’s a reminder that even in our darkest moments, light still exists. Every time I light one, I’m reminded that love never truly leaves us. Because of GOD and Nathaniel will always be the reason this business exists. His life continues to inspire everything I create. If you’re new here, thank you for being part of this journey. And if you’ve been here from the beginning, thank you for walking alongside me. 🤍

It’s finally coming together. The image that I once had in my mind is now being created and brought into life. I have learned so much throughout this journey. It was more than making candles, I have grown to love every step or challenge that has come forward during the making of this project. The biggest thing that I have fought, was to take ACTION in the next step. Fighting my own battle, and honestly sometimes wanting to give up… someone told me, “the only failure is not trying.” So I’m here to tell you that whatever it is that you’re working on, keep pushing. - - - #entrepreneur #entrepreneurmindset #candle #handmadecandle #handmadecandles #soywaxcandle #bobproctor #chandler #organization #store #lightmecandle #thankyougod #thankyou @maryavilamo @proctorgallagher
