As the curtains close on the 2026 season, it’s been a pleasure to reflect on what has been an incredible year on and off the bike.

Despite less shiny results on paper, I have been much more consistent at a higher level, ticked off so many goals and have had countless new experiences. The legs and head are stronger than ever and the passion for the sport keeps growing.

As of next week, life will look a little different with a new career but I am excited for a new chapter alongside cycling. Time to rest and then carry on building for 2027.

Thanks to everyone who made 2026 the most special year yet 💜

one more never hurt no one 🤭

P13 at Heule 1.15a after a last minute decision to race. Couldn’t be happier with my consistency out in Belgium. Learnt a lot in these super fast races, about myself and tactically, improving each time.

thanks to everyone for the support recently, especially @thecyclistsalliance & @hoogeboomroos for guiding me through my time in Belgium and giving me the opportunity to connect and learn from my idols through the TCAMP programme.

now it’s time to reflect on the season and wind down before doing it all over again, just with a couple of changes…

Postcards from Monsal Hill Climb.

What an iconic event. Unreal views and spectator numbers, parking and pub at the top not to mention the spicy climb, need I go on?? I’ll let the slides tell you the rest.

If this wasn’t on your bucket list already, thank me later 👋
Might swap the camera for a rim brake next year..

Big thanks for the invite to tag along @benmillar95 and to @monsalhillclimb for putting on such an incredible event and for the finish line access 🙏🏻

Knesselare 1.15a P4 !! 🤩

After my first couple of races in Belgium, I quietly knew a top 10 was within reach. I didn’t expect to close 1’20” with two laps to go, catch the break as the sprint opened up 🤏🏼 and come within a few bike lengths of the podium in just my fourth Belgian race 🤯

A result I’m incredibly happy with and would have dreamt of at the start of the season, but definitely one that has left me hungry for more.

They’re not lying when they say the legs are better on day two eh

A huge thank you to all of those in my corner 💜 and to @max_holgate_coaching for building the engine ⛽️

GLL Sports Foundation Newcastle & Gateshead evening. I am very grateful to have been supported by the @gllsportfoundation this year. A great evening spent celebrating local athletes of all ages across multiple sports.

Blaydon CC Women's Charity TT, 120 female cyclists taking part!!! Absolutely brilliant to be a part of this event and extra special to be set off last as the scratch rider. A great way to end the season.

How to celebrate finishing my final dissertation... go racing bikes of course.

Ryedale, forgot how unflat this course was 😅⛰️.

A brief bit of R&R before whatever is next. Many exciting opportunities ahead. There have been points this year I wasn't sure if I'd make it to where I am now but we (royal we) made it. Juggling multiple part time jobs, finishing my masters, continuing to race and train as well as travelling has been challenging. It has been a lesson in how to accept good enough instead of perfection across the board.

Final 2026 standings for The British Continental road race rankings.

Two team titles, both decided on the last day of the season at Walton.

Loughborough Lightning came in 38 points behind DAS–Hutchinson, with two riders on the startlist and the leaders at home. Fifth for Georgia Lancaster and 13th for Rosie Simmons was worth 46. Lightning take the women’s team title by eight.

Ride Revolution Coaching led JAKROO Handsling Racing by 17 and brought seven riders to their two. Oscar Nisbett’s second place was JAKROO’s answer; fourth and sixth for Clay Davies and Josh Housley was Ride Revolution’s. The open team title is theirs by 36.

The individual titles were settled before the weekend: Lily Martin (Loughborough Lightning) on 582 points, 147 clear of Morven Yeoman, and Thomas Armstrong (Wheelbase CabTech Castelli) on 578, 130 clear of Danylo Riwnyj.
