THIS FRIDAY 6-10pm. One more night to celebrate Arizona Monsoon photography!

From an empty gallery to a space filled with people, photography, and conversation! Here’s a little timelapse from the opening night of our MONSOON Photography Show at Brill Gallery and Studio.

Join us this Friday, October 16, from 6–10 PM for CLOSING NIGHT!

This is your last chance to see the exhibition, meet the talented Arizona photographers behind the images, and hear the stories behind their work.

We believe photography is more than something to look at. It’s something to talk about, share, and experience together. And there’s no better way to do that than with the photographers themselves.

Come celebrate local photography and the creative community that makes it possible!
RSVP + more information at the link in our bio.

More Monsoon Show Photos Ahhhhh…We’re still smiling from opening weekend of the Monsoon Show. It was such a great reminder of how much we love bringing people together at the Brill Gallery and Studio—meeting our community, sharing conversations, and celebrating the incredible photographers we have right here in Arizona.

We’re excited to do it all again for Closing Night — October 16, 6–10pm. Come spend the evening with us, meet the photographers, see the work, and celebrate our local creative community.

RSVP + more info in bio.

What a Weekend!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for the opening of the Monsoon Show at @brillgalleryandstudio. Seeing the gallery and backyard filled with people supporting the selected photographers, talking about the work, meeting one another, laughing and simply spending time together meant more than we can express.

This show is about our Arizona—Arizona photographers sharing photographs made here—and seeing so many people come together around that work was a reminder of why events like this matter.

From Flagstaff to Phoenix to Tucson, photography in Arizona continues to grow because of the photographers making the work, the people willing to show up and support it, and a community that believes photography deserves to be seen, collected, and celebrated.

Together, we can continuing to elevate photography in Arizona and create more opportunities for the incredible talent that exists here.

Community feels especially important these days, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to be part of ours.

And a huge thank you to Danny, @unheard.harmony for documenting the night so perfectly. These photos really capture the energy, people, and fun of the evening.

Thank you to our featured photographers, everyone who attended, and everyone who continues to support Brill Gallery and Studio and Arizona photography.

If you missed it, Closing Night is Friday, October 16th 6-10pm. INFO/RSVP link in bio!

Visiting familia in El Paso, TX I had the luck of a monsoon night that I got to chase! I felt grateful seeing my loved ones and being able to shoot an epic night of lightning!

While some people worry about fentanyl and crime crossing the southern border, I witnessed a different kind of Mexican border jumper that night….lightning strikes rolled out of Juarez and crossed straight into the United States.

Just millions of volts illegally entering the country and lighting up the American desert ⚡️⛈️

Apparently Mother Nature has an open-border policy. 😎#stormchaser #monsoon #txwx #lightning #juarez @lightningchazer @lightning_chasers @therealfitfamelpaso
