On Me and My Cousin Vinny, we sat down with NHL icon Ryan Callahan and his wife, Kyla, the impressive driving force behind the rapidly growing Ryan Callahan Foundation.

We had the opportunity to reflect on Ryan’s career, his transition to life after hockey, and the impact they’re making through the Ryan Callahan Foundation.

Kyla shared insight into the foundation’s mission and continued growth, along with the evolution of its annual gala into a major part of Rochester’s philanthropic scene.

That same week, we were honored to narrate a Q&A fireside chat at the gala, giving the audience a deeper look into the cause behind the foundation and the work driving its mission forward.

Benchmark International and the @tblightning are kicking off the 2026-27 season by giving back to the Tampa Bay community through Strikes of Kindness.

Together, we awarded $300,000 in grants to 12 local nonprofits, with each organization receiving $25,000 to support the work they do across our community.

We’re proud to support these organizations and the meaningful impact they’re making throughout Tampa Bay.

A milestone for DFIO’s Game Day Experience program. 🇺🇸🏒

This Sunday, two Veterans will experience a Tampa Bay Lightning game through our first Veteran-focused GDEs!

These experiences are being coordinated through our newly formed partnerships with Florida Veterans Coalition and Club-214 Land & Sea—two organizations helping us connect with Veterans who can benefit from a memorable day away and the opportunity to simply enjoy the experience.

This is exactly why we continue expanding the Game Day Experience program: different people, different circumstances, one opportunity to create a lasting memory through sports.

We’re grateful to both organizations for trusting DFIO as we begin serving more Veterans through GDEs.
