I’m ready to share my heart, my purpose, and the mission behind the Light On Initiative @lightoninitiative because every child deserves someone who reminds them their light matters. This journey has always been about more than a crown; it’s about using my voice, my experiences, and this platform to make a meaningful impact.

In just one week, I’ll step onto that stage carrying a dream, a purpose, and a passion for serving others. It would be an incredible honor to represent Miss Nevada USA and this beautiful state at Miss USA, sharing not only who I am, but what I stand for.

No matter the outcome, I’m grateful for the opportunity. But if given the chance, I would proudly represent Nevada with grace, purpose, and heart. 💎👑✨

A healthcare professional with a heart for service, Ericka is taking part in the Open Call States for Miss USA 2026 and is working to earn her opportunity to compete on the national stage.

As the founder of The Light On Initiative, an author, mentor, and advocate for children, Ericka has dedicated her life to helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her mission is simple: to bring hope, encouragement, and opportunity to those who need it most.

Growing up in Texas as one of seven children and helping raise her younger brothers instilled in her a deep passion for service and leadership. Today, she works in oncology pharmaceutical sales, partnering with healthcare providers to help connect patients with life-changing treatment options.

Her impact extends far beyond her career. Earlier this year, Ericka traveled to Africa, where she mentored teachers and students while helping raise funds to provide food for a local school for four months. That experience further fueled her commitment to international outreach and her vision of bringing mentorship and support to communities around the world.

Whether she wears a crown or not, Ericka plans to continue her mission of reaching children and individuals who have never had someone shine a light on their potential. She believes true leadership is not about standing above others—it is about lifting others up and lighting the way forward.
