The Kinetic Junction 🚌 ⚡ 🏙️ 🇬🇧 🎯

I’ve wanted to photograph Vauxhall Bus Station with a classic red double-decker for so long, and the timing finally lined up. The iconic cantilevered canopy looks straight out of a sci-fi set against the modern skyline, while the night traffic cuts ribbons of light through the turn.

Neon Trails over Westminster 🚲 ⚡ 🇬🇧 🕰️ 🚌 ✨

London after dark, moving at two completely different speeds.

Swipe to see both:
1️⃣ An electric pedicab blazing a full rainbow streak across Westminster Bridge
2️⃣ The classic red double-decker turning into pure motion blur past Big Ben

Historic architecture meets modern light trails.

Which energy takes it for you: the neon rainbow (1) or the classic red rush (2)? Drop your vote below. 👇

I never dreamed that I would be so fond of the new Hudson's Detroit Complex, but it looks so LIT at night in the heart of downtown Detroit. It is now the more striking building on the city's skyline at day and night. But I still love the old architectural marvels and the RenCen.

A rare once in a lifetime bucket list shot... seeing the CTA L train (Green Line 💚) clearly fly by the Chicago Theatre at night while the State/Lake station gets rebuilt.

What’s one shot you can get with a drone? Top-down light trails. This was captured in 2021 with a @djiglobal Air 2S. Thankfully no wind meant the 8-second shutter held.

New and old. I always like the contrast of the old buildings surviving under the busyness of the Story Bridge. A few local residents coming home from their working day added a little more ‘new’ with the light trails.

The iconic Story Bridge has been a defining feature of Brisbane’s skyline since opening in 1940. Motorists once had to pay a toll to cross the bridge, with tolls operating until 1947. No tolls anymore (well not yet until the council decides how much it will cost to keep it functioning through the renovation it needs).

Even after more than 85 years, the Story Bridge remains one of Brisbane’s most recognisable landmarks.
