That’s a wrap on EIRO at @artprize! @eirovantage survived 18 days of storms and had thousands of interactions in person and virtually. Many people asked what it was like to realize a dream. Sometimes, I see emotions as images. The first image I imagined was a moon-shaped balloon on a string, that carried me off sideways to a new perspective. The next was the thought of a jar of fireflies being released into the atmosphere. And then, an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the people around me. I want to say thank you to:

My whole crew @leonspeakers for always making it happen

My core @eirovantage team, Felicia from @costumecloset.nyc, Aaron Grunwald, Ryan Goold

To @thewzer for capturing the entire story, and @trumediahome for helping us out on site.

To the illuminated team of @cultureverse2 for all of their love and support, and for getting the @artprize grant

To our partners @mountain_machine @mercurysl @lightwallsuk @artprize

And most importantly, to my wife @helenfkaplan and my whole family for always supporting my insane ideas.

The Eye of @EIROvantage itself began construction only one month before we completed the project. It’s designed with a skeletal frame using marine-grade plywood and reinforced with aluminum structures. We machined and assemble the parts in-house @LeonSpeakers. We created the screen for the lenses of the eye using a revolutionary new product from @lightwallsuk, and then sent it out to incredible craftspeople at @mountain_machine to wrap it with aluminum like an airplane wing. Then it was off to @artprize on its own trailer.

Imagine seeing this thing flying down the highway.

Yes, we say “experience” all day everyday because it’s at the core of what we do. Also… there’s only so much imagery can do. The actual experience in this private screening room is beyond entertainment. It’s beyond even… smiling. This is pure laughter and joy! Tech-talk is: a @dtscreens theater screen, audio by @tpisound, seating by @cineak, and mind-blowing immersive cinema lighting by @lightwallsuk. Tech-translation is: the lighting literally responds to the content on screen, matching the mood, the meaning, the explosions or excitement, etc. The energy surrounds you. The sound feels like it’s inside you. We offer this room up to the ’gram (how could we not?) but to bring it full circle: schedule a visit. You simply must experience Cyber.
