Maybe your version of a better morning looks like this.
A chai, something homemade, a garden to wander through, and nowhere you need to be five minutes ago.

@LightwaveCafe is one of those places that makes Monte Rio feel less like somewhere you visit and more like somewhere you could actually settle into.

That is the appeal of this part of the Russian River. Monte Rio, Guerneville, Duncans Mills, and Occidental all make it surprisingly easy to imagine a life with more nature, more good food, more community, and a little less rushing.

✨Send this to the person you keep talking about escaping the Bay Area with.

And if you are already picturing what it would be like to have a place here, that is exactly why these spots are being shared now. A very unusual Monte Rio home is coming soon just a few minutes from Lightwave, with the kind of architecture and setting that makes sense for someone looking for something far from ordinary.

Weekend place or full-time move?

🐢 Claiming this giant turtle as my official throne! Found the most pawsome hidden gem by the Russian River called Lightwave Coffee and Kitchen. 🌲 I was just there for the endless belly rubs from the friendly community. It’s super dog-friendly and surrounded by beautiful trees, definitely a 14/10 weekend spot! 🐾✨ #DogsofInstagram #RussianRiverDogs #MiniatureSchnauzer #LightwaveCafe #DogFriendlyNorCal

In Sonoma County, cheesecakes range from caramelized Basque styles to rich New York classics — including Frank Sinatra’s favorite. Here are some of the best to indulge in for National Cheesecake Day, July 30.

Saturday’s Skate Jam was one for the books, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing sponsors, local partners, and community members who showed up to support the cause! Thank you!

I absolutely love our Soundwave Number 9 tiles. This pattern never ceases to mesmerize me, and I’m so happy that it is going into a new project by one of our favorite #sonomacounty restaurants @lightwave_cafe !!!
