Adelphi Paperhangings Bull's Head Medallion seen here in The Richard and Priscilla Newcomb House. A restoration project in Cape Cod of an 1820s home by owners Brian Uy and Doriot Kim @thejauntycow , an absolutely beautiful historic house.

A little history about this pattern....a few fragments of this medallion pattern were discovered pasted directly to the wood sheathing of a second floor room at the Bull's Head Inn in Cobleskill, New York, just 14 miles from Adelphi's workshop in Sharon Springs.
The building was originally constructed as an inn for Lambert Lawyer; it was transformed into a residence in 1839.
While wallpapers from the major manufacturing centers of Boston, New York and Philadelphia were routinely sold in rural communities, it is conceivable that this pattern was the work of a wallpaper printer in Albany, who was known to be in business in the 1820s and '30s.
Similarities of scale and structure can be detected between this and the Middlefield Sprig, another pattern found locally.

From digital to physical. ⚡

The first Ushkee Scout prototype is officially coming to life.

Watching a character we've built over the years emerge layer by layer from a 3D printer is a special moment.

This is only the beginning. #stayushkee

I didn’t even realize I needed this… until I made one.😮‍💨

The feedback. The repetition.🔁
It just does something to your brain.

needs something to do with your hands,
or spends a lot of time focused, creating, working…

this is for you.❤️‍🔥

It’s subtle, it’s functional, and it lives right on your keys.
Something that keeps you grounded, present, and locked in.

Even if you don’t think you need it…you probably do. & luckily for you it can be found @ the link in my bio. 🛍️ fully customizable. Perfect for gifts, events, branding, parties etc.

What should I make the next one say?🤭 Share your ideas in the comments

From mind → matter. Day 1 of me posting 3D print content until I find my people.

Over the years, my creativity has evolved into different mediums.
it’s the ideation. It’s the process.
It’s taking something from my mind and bringing it into physical form. That’s the part I’m obsessed with.

If you can imagine it… we can build it.

This is an open invitation to co-create with me.
Bring me your ideas, your concepts, your “what ifs”
and let’s turn them into reality together.

Welcome to the beginning of LightWork Designs 🪄✨
