In 2018 I visited the New York University campus for the first time, it was raining throughout the tour and even drenched in water with only a pizza box to cover me from the elements NYU became my dream school. Now in 2024 I’ve graduated with my BFA with honors in Studio Art and Social and Cultural Analysis from New York University. The city my family first migrated to became my campus it has taught me many lessons, carved enough memories for a lifetime and established lifelong friendships. It also rained throughout the week of graduation, connecting the beginning and end of my undergraduate journey at NYU. To the next thing🥂🌂💜

Me bee-ing casually on my way to the Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show stage! We got a stage this year! Woo hoo! So much fun yesterday and the freezing temperatures kept the ice optimal! Thanks to everyone who came out. I hope you all weren’t too put off by the cold.

Video credits and bee photo by my bestie Ren Mutevellioglu @rengimmutevellioglu, assorted awesome photos of the Ice Sculpture Show and ice artist participants including me by Nicollete Conti @nickyconti and solo photo of my finished piece by fellow artist Katerina Sokolovskaya @katerina.sokolovskaya.art.
