Oh Ted, you horny bastard, it was a pleasure getting to play a role that was both challenging and absolutely a blast!

It was amazing being part of a cast with such great chemistry and astonishing creative direction!

There wasn’t a single rehearsal where I burst into tears with laughter, this cast is one I’m going to miss seeing every week.

A week later, it’s fair to say that the post show depression has definitely hit, I’m going to miss trying not to break character every rehearsal and doing more of @zoe.fraser_ ‘s warm ups again!

Huge thanks to @straytheatre for putting on such a successful show season and @_tiaquest__ for directing such a fun show!!! 🙌🫶🔥

This show means the world to me, and to get to play Hidgens as my first role back after starting testosterone is more special than words can say.

genuinely love this cast— best cast i’ve ever worked with (esp at wordsearch & crosswords). spent almost everyday with these talented people for the past two months and they’ve always made my day.

a big shout out to the creative team and ofcourse @zoe.fraser_, @kate.sampson, it was such an honour to work with you. cannot stress enough how rewarding it is to do u proud 😭 ++ MVP @ewwa_james u are literally the best!

everyone worked their asses and it finally paid off! i wouldn’t have it any other way.

oh my god… i didn’t think about the implications.

to my dear cast, thank you for your trust and for bringing this incredibly insane show a vibrant life on the stage.

to my creative team, you’re all exceptionally talented. it’s been an honour to work alongside people i admire and respect.

to my producers, my dearest friends, im so grateful for the opportunities and support you’ve provided me. you worked overtime for this show, i have no clue how you did it. i love you both so incredibly much.

to audiences, thank you for indulging in this chaos and for making our sold out season so brilliant.

it was pretty damn cool directing the aotearoa premiere of this iconic show, and i so hope to see more of starkid in the future. preferably one with a better name.

A fab cabaret tonight celebrating Lily’s Musical Odyssey at Spotlight Theatre - the home of Manukau Performing Arts.
Awesome performances from Tiaana, Amelia, Melody, Jarod with Jack at the keys!

Lily started lessons with StageAntics four years ago - she has competed in competitions, performed in “Camp Rock” as well as two Christmas concerts, won a number of StageAntics annual awards and last year worked at our South Akld GCAC as a@music director and support worker!

StageAntics is thrilled to have been a part of Lily’s journey and cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes her 🩷
