I can hardly express how much last night meant to me. My 2nd record, Late Checkout, came out, and you all helped us celebrate at Webster Hall with FLYING COLORS. The love and positivity in the room was overwhelming. When we first came out I immediately started tearing up just seeing the sold out hometown crowd.

You are the best, NYC. Thank you for showing up in droves. Thank you for screaming along. Thank you for listening to Late Checkout! Thank you for welcoming our newest member the great @_petemiller_ on keys. Thank you @guerillatoss for opening the night so beautifully. Thank you to @charlie_horne98 for Tour Managing the ever loving fuck out of this extremely large production. Thank you @dylanhinds_ and @gabe_monro for being the nastiest audio team around. Thank you @below_the_waves and @pretty_fly_4_a_lightguy for designing and operating the lighting rig of my dreams. Thank you @adam.november & @thecorsico for being my right hand BOYZ and playing so beautifully as you always do. Thank you @simanohsays for being the greatest promoter on earth. Thank you @robertrandolph for sitting in with us! And so many more to thank but I’m running out of characters. You know who you are and I love you madly. It takes a village, and my village is the greatest.

But a resounding, heart felt, THANK YOU to all of you for traveling from far and wide and sharing in this extremely special night with us. This was the craziest week in KR history (Zabars, CBS, Riverside Drive music video, Webster Hall, about 100,000 hours of rehearsal, etc) and my cup runneth over. I love you New York City, my forever home.

Burning Man 2026, Axis Mundi - it turns out most events aren’t planned. I was working in Colorado a couple weeks ago, and got offered the last second ticket to go to Black Rock City. It would be my first Burning Man. With only days to spare, I decided to listen to the universe and take the leap. I flew home and tried to pack what supplies I could find in a suitcase and made my way to the playa. Many of my friends and family have asked me what it was like. My response was that it was everything. It was all the things. It was challenging, it was beautiful, it was emotional and sad, and it was so much fun. There was all kinds of weather, and all kinds of art. The creativity was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. For me, it was the humans. The citizens of Black rock city made my experience unforgettable. I camped with 30 or 40 strangers, mostly from San Francisco and Salt Lake City. We were the ‘Freeloader Pizza Kitchen’ at 7:15 & D. I spent most of my time getting lost and found with these amazing new friends. I am so thankful for them, all of them. I am back home now, a bit different than I was when I left. As the memories come up, I find myself with a smile on my face. To those of you that weren’t there, know that I spent some time thinking of you as well. To Nate and Holly and and all that have left already, you were with me too. I’m not sure where I go from here. But I do know that I will listen to my heart and trust the universe.
