We’ve had a week to recover from our amazing Home Show and a lot of time to reflect on how wonderful it truly was. It was a beautiful day and our riders were amazing in the ring and out! Everyone was so helpful all day. Thank you to our team families for pitching in, donating time, food, sweat and tears! Our raffles were beautiful and food was delicious! Thank you so our friends at @parkviewequestriancenterny for your facility, horses, friendship and assistance all day and to our friends at @winding_hill_stables_ and @oldetowne_family for lending us your amazing horses for the day! Special thanks to the Olevic and Cohen Family for your coordination of our fundraising efforts and to AB Olevic for our beautiful Farmstead Jump. It is absolutely stunning! It truly takes a village, and we are so lucky to have the very best 💙🩵🤍 See you all tomorrow at DDR!

The Farmstead Equestrian Team is ready for an amazing 2024-2025 season. After over 11 years of coaching the team together, Coaches Judy Galterio & Tara Malone Baron have moved our team to new locations; we are currently operating out of both DDR Farms in Melville and Winding Hills Stables in Northport. We are grateful for the welcoming environment at both facilities. In the past several years, our team and riders have achieved amazing successes. The hard work and dedication of our riders, the overwhelming support of our team parents, and the expertise of the coaching staff has helped our riders make it to IEA National Finals in Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina twice in the past decade. In this past season alone, our Middle School and High School Teams scored 1st and 2nd throughout the regular season in all of Zone 2. Our 23-24 Middle School Team qualified for and competed in National Finals, earning 7th place, and 3 of our High School Riders qualified and competed at National Finals as Individuals. Congratulations to each and every one of our riders on a phenomenal 2023-2024 IEA season. We have seen amazing growth in each of our riders from the start of the season until now and we are so proud. It takes a lot of hard work, grit, passion and talent to succeed in our sport, and we can confidently say that our Farmstead team was more successful than ever. This year, Farmstead was the highest scoring High School and Middle School team in the state through the regular season. This is no small feat, and we could not be more proud.

This past weekend, our team competed at our Zone 2, Region 8 finals. Riders and teams had to finish in 1st place to move on to Zone Finals. We are proud to announce that our Middle School Team as well as 8 individual riders will move on to Zones. A special congratulations to Dylan for being High Point Rider of the competition. Well done, everyone! Please join us in wishing Antonia, Amelia, Ava, Dylan, Finley, Lily, Maeve, Markella, Pavitra, Riley and Sarah good luck at Zones!
