CELLO HOMIES!

my second record, “PLAY,” HAS ARRIVED.

after a year+ of recording, erasing, learning, writing, breaking things in frustration, nailing punch ins, binging YouTube, calling friends for desperate help, stress-crushing cases of coke zero, comping forever, high-fiving, and sitting back smugly in my chair. it’s here.

it’s a little rough around the edges. it’s a tad experimental, a shade of green, and has smoke rising up in a few places it shouldn’t.

but that encapsulates this whole thing. at its core, PLAY is a DIY project. meant to capture what it means to spread your wings, make mistakes, and blossom as an adult. I did the majority of this record in my bedroom, forcryinoutloud! And I still so strongly believe that the writing stands on its own. they’re real experiences with real words from a real person… who just wants to play.

Super huge thanks to everyone who encouraged, came to shows, lent me instruments, shared my videos, poked light fun, supported the IndieGogo that allowed me to buy a nice microphone, played on the record (there are so many of you I couldn’t tag everyone!!), and otherwise made this thing a reality.

I very much love and appreciate you.

Go enjoy this album. and if you really really enjoy it, share it with a friend.

See you at CONTINENTAL CLUB FRIDAY NIGHT 8PM!!!!! LETS PLAY!!!!!

Crazy how time is just zooming by. It went from being summer to turning 21 and getting a snow day after.
We also pulled off a show with some hot cocoa.
Then I went to Nola right after playing with Lila and Sofia.
I thank the Lord for these moments and for being surrounded by such amazing people.
