POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night, we played our final show with Seth behind the kit. Seth has been around for so many of our firsts, and we will miss him so much. Every project he touches turns to gold, and we are honored to have been a part of that. Here are a few memories from the last couple of years together. We love you Seth, and will be cheering for every project you’re part of in the future!

⭐️ OUT TODAY: Cocojoey - 𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙎

So incredibly excited to share this one with you all - the first HausMo album from a new-to-the-roster artist in a few years!

Chicago-based composer/producer Joey Meland makes music under the moniker @cocojoeyyy. Treating genre conventions and ostensible barriers between disparate musical vocabularies like playthings to gleefully smash and reshape at will, Meland channels decades of experience as a polymathic professional musician adept in styles like metal, jazz, synthpop, and experimental sound design into their infinitely combinatory compositions. 𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙎, their first album on Hausu Mountain, follows the self-released 𝘾𝙊𝘾𝙊𝙅𝙊𝙀𝙔’𝙎 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿 (2022) with a spellbinding burst of heart-on-sleeve self-expression. The album finds Cocojoey indulging their most adventurous impulses in production and technical instrumental performance, launching into a constantly morphing program that contrasts day-glo earworm hooks against cathartic moments of screaming intensity. Describing their work as an outlet to navigate difficult emotions and negative experiences through overwhelming bursts of absurdity, Meland’s music exudes warmth and finger-wagging mischief as it exhumes the depths of their psyche with the pure-hearted goal of making their audience smile — when those listening find a chance to breathe within the ecstatic overstimulation.

Available on cassette, CD, digitally, and various merch options with DL code through our Bandcamp, and streaming on all the usual culprits worldwide.

Album artwork by @ken.buck.ham, @goodwillsmith, & @happybirthdaymrbaskets.

Mastered by @angelhairaudio.

Features guest spots from @fire_toolz, @floricane.music, @stopmotionplant, & Coco.

Here’s @brandicarlile and I singing one of the best songs ever written in front of her amazing community of fans during her Mothership Weekend. She remains one of the kindest, most powerful forces in our musical lives - bringing us into Joni’s world, working behind the scenes to help make the Grammys happen, and inviting us up on stage with at moments like this. Thanks for having us! What a beautiful night!

Rosary is up first, followed by Blankstate, and finishing the night is theyslashthem.

as I was writing the OG caption to this post, I was called out for getting stuck in a bathroom at 4:30 pm on a Tuesday….🤓😊 but I escaped the bathroom,

and as a reminder—on Feb 1st we are vending a very limited supply of our new merch, done in collaboration with @mio.bespoke !! Our very talented @lilarosser is vending prints with us as well !! You can see 2 of the shirts we will be selling (for $15!) if you slide through, as well as the updated lineup for the show as well.

we hope to see you all there 😊😌

and as always, Notary Public—the beloved WT mascot, is here, pictured with her step father’s recent purchase.
