Color my Cactus!! 🌵💙💛🧡🌵 My beautiful colorful Brazilian cacti to the sound of Samba!! Siccobaccatus Dolichospermaticus Micranthocereus Purpureus Uebelmannia Pectinifera Brazilian cacti in my opinion are the most colorful and beautiful cacti in the Americas!! The Siccobaccatus Dolichospermaticus is one of the most beautiful columnar cacti out there with its beautiful red to burnt orange spines that turn tan as they age. It looks like a volcano erupting hence the pot I bought for it. 🌋. I tried to mimic it's natrual habitat with those black rocks and added more color with that top dressing. I chose this cactus for this pot as I see it resembles a Pumpkin and with spines it's perfect as a spooky Pumpkin for the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington!! The pots I painted myself to go according to the colors of the spines of the cacti but also to resembles candy corn which is perfect for this month!! 💛🧡🤍!! México's Independence! 🦅🇲🇽 Celebrating México's Independence with beautiful Cacti!! 🌵🌵 Here we have the Microdasys Pallida, Albispina, and Rufida representing the green, white, and red colors of the Mexican Flag!! I also painted the pots accordingly. The Calendar is the great solar Calendar made by the Mexica Civilization (aka fake made up name Aztecs). I also have Aztekium Valdezi, Hintonii, and Ritteri. The big Hintonii represents the main Pyramid Templo Mayor the Mexicas built. The 3 small ones represent the Triple Alliance of Tenochtitlan, Texcoco, and Tlacopan. The colors of the tops dressing represent the actual colors they would use on their architecture.
