FORTY DEUCE RADIO PRESENTS: JOHN JOSEPH AKA BLOODCLOT!

Friday November 6th 6:00 - 8:00

The rumors are true! Hardcore legend, author, and the official NYHC motivational speaker John Joseph is joining Chip Love and Capitol Pete at the East Village Radio booth for a special edition of Forty Deuce Radio.
Best known as the powerhouse frontman of the legendary New York hardcore band Cro-Mags, John has spent decades at the heart of hardcore punk culture. His musical journey also includes Both Worlds and Bloodclot, carrying the energy, intensity, and independent spirit of New York hardcore to audiences worldwide.
But John’s story extends far beyond the stage. His books explore his extraordinary life, personal struggles, and defining experiences, while his everyday work focuses on discipline, resilience, personal responsibility, and transforming adversity into purpose.
From the early days of New York’s hardcore scene to his life as a musician, writer, and speaker, John Joseph has never held back. He is a firsthand witness to a movement that shaped underground music and continues to influence generations of artists and fans.
Join Chip Love and Capitol Pete for an honest conversation about the people, places, music, culture, and life lessons behind the legend.

The most perfect + windy wedding day as a nor’easter approached the city. Matt and Emily hosted their Tennessee family in NYC for a city hall ceremony, followed by an intimate dinner at Lil Frankie’s. I will always gravitate towards days like these. ❤️
