Elkins LB # 23 Carston grimes he is a awesome football player for this team. He has a high motor. He’s always around the football no matter where it’s at. Great speed great awareness of where he’s at on the field could replace he could cover. He’s a very versatile player that can also play nickel if you need him to. He’s got great enough speed to stick with wide receivers because he can play nickel that gives him an advantage and not make him a mismatch. He’s very good in the run game. He’s a damn good tackler. He’s physical he can chase down plays He gives maximum effort while he’s out there on the field. He’s off to a very good start this season playing that LB - nickel roll. He’s a very discipline football player. He does very good in one on one tackling and get into the backfield and making plays vs Mayde Creek He was all over the place in that game really good had a big-time hit in the backfield.vs Dawson I believe he had a interception in that game a big-time one showing his nickel coverage skills in his versatility. He is off to a great start this season. Keep on a lookout for him. He is a dynamic football player. @lilgrimes2
