🔥 SHAKE IT OFF! 🔥 In Acts 28:3–5, Paul was gathering sticks when a poisonous snake came out because of the heat and fastened itself onto his hand. The people expected him to suffer because of what they saw happen. But Paul SHOOK THE snake OFF into the fire and kept moving. That’s a WORD for somebody today: SHAKE IT OFF! 🙌🏾 When they lie on you, SHAKE IT OFF. When they talk about you, SHAKE IT OFF. When they misunderstand you, SHAKE IT OFF. When they judge you by what they think they know, SHAKE IT OFF. When they call you everything but a child of GOD, SHAKE IT OFF. When those snakes try to bite you, SHAKE IT OFF! 🐍🔥 Don’t allow what was meant to hurt you to stop you from walking in your purpose. Paul didn’t argue with the snake. He didn’t give it attention. He simply SHOOK IT OFF and kept going. Sometimes the enemy will send people, words, accusations, and situations designed to distract you from what GOD has called you to do. But you have to know who you are and, more importantly, WHOSE you are. The bite didn’t stop Paul. The opinions of the people didn’t stop Paul. The attack didn’t stop Paul. And it won’t stop you either! 📖 Acts 28:5 — Paul “SHOOK OFF the snake into the fire and was unharmed.” So keep your head up. Keep your heart right. Keep your FAITH strong. Keep trusting GOD. You don’t have to fight every battle. You don’t have to answer every accusation. You don’t have to explain yourself to everybody. Sometimes, you just need to SHAKE IT OFF and KEEP MOVING! 🙏🏾🔥 What tried to bite you will NOT define you. What they said about you will NOT destroy you. What they meant for evil GOD can turn around for your good. SHAKE IT OFF. PRAY IT OFF. TRUST GOD. KEEP MOVING. 🙌🏾 If GOD be for us, who can be against us? — Romans 8:31 #ShakeItOff #Acts28 #TrustGod #KeepMoving #ChildOfGod

🥉 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – 3RD PLACE FINISH To Our Bayou Kingz Family, From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for allowing us the incredible privilege of coaching your sons. You entrusted us with something priceless, and we never took that responsibility lightly. From the very beginning, our mission has always been bigger than basketball. While we strive to develop great athletes, our greatest purpose has been to help shape young men of character, FAITH, integrity, discipline, humility, and leadership. This season tested us in ways we never imagined. Our motto from day one was “Against All Odds,” and these young men lived those words every single day. We had no consistent gym time, limited opportunities to practice, and often competed with only six players. Yet they never complained, never made excuses, and never quit. Instead, they trusted one another, played unselfishly, competed as brothers, and left everything they had on the court every single game. They refused to let adversity define them. Instead, they allowed it to strengthen them. They earned the respect of everyone who watched them compete because they played with heart, represented themselves with class, and never stopped believing in one another. We are deeply honored that you allowed us to become part of your sons’ journeys. Although this season has come to an end, our commitment to them and to your families has not. If there is ever anything your son or your family needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether it’s basketball, school, life, or simply someone to talk to, we will always do our very best to be there. The relationships we’ve built extend far beyond the basketball court, and we pray those bonds last a lifetime. We love each and every one of you, and we couldn’t be more proud to call you our Bayou Kingz family. 💚💛 Once a King, Always a King. 💚💛 “Against All Odds” wasn’t just our motto. It became our identity. Forever Bayou Kingz. Forever Family. 💚💛 OUR CHAMPIONS. 🏆

GOD IS STILL MOVING… AND GOD IS STILL PROVING JUST HOW GREAT HE IS! 🙌🏾❤️ Never let anyone convince you that miracles have stopped. The same GOD who healed, delivered, and restored in the Bible is still working today. One of our basketball players felt a pop in his Achilles during a game. Before fear could take over, we stopped everything, gathered together on that basketball court, and went down in prayer. We called on the name of JESUS, trusting GOD instead of our circumstances. The very next day, that same young man was back on his feet, playing the drums in church and giving GOD the praise! We thank GOD for what we believe was HIS healing touch and HIS faithfulness. Not long ago, a good friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer. We stood together in faith, believing GOD’s promises, and prayed without ceasing. Today, by the grace and mercy of GOD, he is CANCER FREE! 🙏🏾🙌🏾 These moments remind us that our faith is not in doctors, trainers, or circumstances alone, our faith is in THE GREAT PHYSICIAN. GOD still answers prayers. GOD still heals. GOD still makes a way when there seems to be no way. “JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday and today and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8 “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD.” — Jeremiah 30:17 “The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the LORD will raise them up.” — James 5:15 No matter what you’re facing today, don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. Don’t stop trusting. Our GOD is still performing miracles. Our GOD is still answering prayers. Our GOD is still worthy of all the glory, honor, and praise! #GodStillMoves #PowerOfPrayer #FaithOverFear #GodIsAble #PrayerChangesThings MiraclesStillHappen AllGloryToGod TrustGod

🎉🎂 Happy BLESSED 18th Birthday to my youngest son, Evan Rapp! 🎂🎉 Today is a bittersweet day for me as a father. It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms, and now you’re officially an adult and preparing to begin your college journey. Where has the time gone? Son, I am so proud of the young man you have become. You have shown strength through adversity, determination through challenges, and FAITH through every season of your life. As you head off to college, always remember that your education is important, but your relationship with GOD is even more important. Keep CHRIST at the center of everything you do. There will be new experiences, opportunities, and challenges, but if you keep your faith and trust in the LORD, HE will guide your steps. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 And never forget: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 Evan, my prayer is that GOD will protect you, strengthen you, and bless you beyond measure as you begin this new chapter of life. Continue to chase your dreams, work hard, stay humble, and never forget where you came from. Happy 18th Birthday, son! I LOVE YOU more than words can express, and I couldn’t be more PROUD to call you my son. Go make your mark on the world, and remember that no matter how far you go, you’ll always have your father’s love, support, and prayers. ❤️🙏🏾🎉 Happy Birthday, Evan! Your future is bright because GOD has HIS hand upon your life.

As we celebrate Evan Rapp’s graduation, our hearts are filled with overwhelming gratitude. First and foremost, we give all glory and honor to GOD. There were days when the road seemed difficult, moments when the weight felt heavy, and seasons when we didn’t know how we would make it through. But GOD’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness carried us every step of the way. To our family, thank you for being there from day one. Your love, prayers, encouragement, support, and presence have meant more than words can express. You stood beside us through every milestone, challenge, and victory, helping shape Evan into the remarkable young man he is today. To our friends, teachers, coaches, mentors, church family, and community, thank you for investing your time, wisdom, guidance, and love into Evan’s life. Every lesson taught, every encouraging word spoken, every ride given, every prayer offered, and every opportunity provided helped make this journey possible. This graduation represents much more than a diploma. It is a testament to perseverance, FAITH, sacrifice, and the power of a village coming together to help raise and support a child. After losing their mother when Evan was only four years old, I was faced with the responsibility of raising both of my sons, Dominique and Evan, on my own. It was not always easy. There were challenges, sacrifices, sleepless nights, and moments of uncertainty. But through it all, GOD never failed us. HE placed incredible people in our lives, opened doors when they seemed closed, and provided strength when we felt weak. Seeing both Dominique and Evan graduate from high school is a blessing beyond measure and a reminder that with FAITH, determination, and a strong support system, all things are possible. THANK YOU, to everyone who celebrated with us and for your kindness, generosity, gifts, words of encouragement, and unwavering support. Your love helped make this graduation celebration truly unforgettable. THANK YOU, for being part of Evan’s journey and for being part of our story.

🏆🏀 Bayou Kingz VARSITY HOOPFEST CHAMPIONS 🏀🏆 (The Tour Basketball) “Against All Odds.” That was the message preached at church on Championship Sunday, and it perfectly described the journey of these young men throughout this basketball season. The Bayou Kingz never quit. They continued to trust GOD, trust the process, and trust each other. This weekend was the perfect example of what perseverance, unity, and heart truly look like. We entered this tournament without practicing for nearly three weeks because we had no gym available. Instead of making excuses, we used the first two pool play games as opportunities to learn, adjust, grow, and prepare for what GOD had in store for us. We installed a new offense and defense during the tournament itself, and these young men embraced the challenge and improved every single game. THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!!! 💪🏾🔥 • First Game — Down 24 points in the second half and fought all the way back to cut the lead to 2 points before falling short by only 4 points. The fight and determination these boys showed was unbelievable. • Second Game — Down 14 points in the second half, but once again refused to quit and stormed back for a 5 point victory. • Bracket Play —Down 12 points with only 1:46 remaining in the game. We battled back and cut the lead to 5 points with 16 seconds left. Then with only 10 seconds remaining and down by 1 point, we drove the length of the court and hit a GAME WINNING BUZZER BEATER as time expired!!! 🚨🏀 • Semi Final Game — Faced another double digit deficit and fought back once again for a hard earned 5 point victory. • Championship Game — The Bayou Kingz left no doubt. After battling through adversity all weekend long, the boys finally put everything together and played a complete game from start to finish. We led by as many as 24 points and brought the championship home with a dominant 16 point victory!!! 🏆🔥 This championship victory brings our combined season record to an outstanding 13-2!!! 💪🏾🏀 This championship is bigger than basketball.
