In my retiring address, I talked about two things:
1. You cannot have unconditional love for others when you have conditional love for yourself.
2. Follow all the signs God gives you, even if it’s as simple as a dandelion.
Thank you all for making an impact on my heart. I am so proud of the work you have done and excited to see the places you will go. I couldn’t have asked for any other five best friends, who have shown me what it means to be family even though you aren’t blood.

Love you, mean it.

One year ago, I got the opportunity to serve as your Maryland FFA State Vice President. Now, I leave this role with a heart full of gratitude.

To the Maryland FFA Association, thank you for trusting me with the privilege of serving you. Thank you for every handshake, every conversation, every chapter visit, every laugh, and every memory. You welcomed me into your communities, challenged me to grow, and reminded me every day why this organization is so special.

To our members, thank you for being the reason behind every mile traveled and every early morning. Your passion, resilience, and willingness to lead have inspired me more than you’ll ever know. Watching you discover your confidence, find your purpose, and realize your potential has been the greatest honor of my year.

Maryland FFA has given me far more than I could ever give back. It has shaped me into a stronger leader, a better communicator, and, most importantly, a better person. While my blue jacket may look a little different now, the lessons, friendships, and memories I carry with me will last a lifetime.

As one chapter closes, I know the story of Maryland FFA continues to be written by each of you. Keep leading with courage, serving with humility, and believing in the impact you can make.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to serve you. It has been the honor of a lifetime!🫶🏼

For the final time, your 2025-2026 Maryland FFA State Sentinel, Lilly Rumpf.

Throughout her year of service, Lilly led with kindness, authenticity, and a servant’s heart. Whether welcoming members at events, building connections during chapter visits, or representing Maryland FFA with pride, she reminded us that leadership is about making others feel seen, valued, and included.

Thank you, Lilly, for your dedication to our association and for the countless ways you’ve impacted members across the state. Your passion for serving others and your commitment to the blue jacket have left a lasting mark on Maryland FFA.

Congratulations on an outstanding year of service. We can’t wait to see where your journey leads next!

Behind every leader is a village of people who believed in them long before the titles, the jackets, and the stage. 💙💛

Here’s to celebrating the ones who cheer the loudest, support the strongest, and love unconditionally.
