WEST PALM RISING: NORA HOTEL & PASTIS OPEN, MORE COMING FROM STARR TO WORTH AVENUE

West Palm Beach is having a moment.

The Nora Hotel opens today with 201 rooms, Florida’s first Sisley Spa, and one of New York’s most iconic restaurants, Pastis, on the ground floor.

And that’s just the beginning.

Stephen Starr is making a major bet on the Palm Beaches. Pastis is now open, and he’s planning a new restaurant on Worth Avenue in the former Neiman Marcus building.

Meanwhile, Lillys is coming to The Nora rooftop, and Macs 44 is set to bring another dining destination to the neighborhood.

Mr. Miami Take: West Palm isn’t just getting another luxury hotel. It’s getting a cultural statement. Stephen Starr is making his next big bet in the Palm Beaches.

And he’s usually right.

The team behind Mary Lou’s has just unveiled two original concepts for West Palm Beach’s buzzing new Nora District — Macs 44, a nightly performance salon, and Lillys, a rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool at the highly anticipated Nora Hotel, which is making its official debut October 19.

Macs 44 makes the show the main event, with music, vocal performance, choreography and theatrical entertainment programmed every night and a liquor locker keeping regulars’ bottles on property. Lillys runs as three experiences under one name, Lillys Pool by day, Bar Lilly for cocktails at sunset, and Cafe Lilly, a full-service restaurant developed with Starr Restaurants.

Lillys opens next month on the roof of The Nora Hotel, with Macs 44 following in December. These two concepts take the group from one venue in the city to three, which has since expanded to Montauk and Miami, alongside activations at Formula 1, Coachella and Art Basel.

@mamahospitality is expanding its West Palm Beach footprint with two new concepts bringing elevated dining, rooftop experiences and immersive entertainment to the city this fall.

The hospitality group behind @marylouspb announced the expansion on October 15, introducing @lillyswpb, a rooftop restaurant, bar and pool destination at The Nora Hotel opening in November, followed by @macs44pb, a performance-driven social salon debuting in December at 825 N. Railroad Avenue in the Nora District.

Developed in collaboration with @starrrestaurant, Lillys will feature poolside dining, an aperitif lounge and a full-service restaurant, alongside live music and cultural programming. Meanwhile, Macs 44 will offer an intimate, theatrical nightlife experience centered on live music, choreography and evolving performances, complemented by cocktails and a curated menu of elevated bar bites.

The two openings will bring Mama Hospitality’s West Palm Beach portfolio to three venues, building on the success of Mary Lou’s while adding new dining and entertainment destinations to the growing @norawestpalm.
