Marlie, a dutiful assistant who dreams of being the theater’s next star, struggles to wrangle a flamboyant cast of characters for a closing performance of "Las Amargas Lagrimas de Petra von Kant," their adaptation of Fassbinder’s text. Along the way she learns that what she thought would bring her closer to her big break, is actually what may be keeping her from her dream.

Last week, our production titled "Flan" for WOW MKTG and their client, Leon Medical, was given the Mosaic Award for Best in Show in its category at the Addy Awards. A big congratulations to everyone on Team Paradiso! We really enjoyed producing this beautiful spot. It was a full circle moment for me, given we ended up filming the commercial in the kitchen where I grew up, and ate way too much Flan!

Winning Gold at the Telly's is always special. But to win the People's Telly really tops it all. This campaign started with outside-the-box thinking. The creative was not only bold, but is uniquely grounded as well, in shared experiences we all hope to have with our loved ones.

Director cut of a CVS ad with a focus on Mental Health. Shooting inside a CVS store had its challenges - no product names, no medicines, no customer details. To solve this our Art Director @lilpeteparente and his team replaced everything in site with CVS branded products. Our DP @andrescinema used Petzval lenses to control a super shallow depth of field, controlling focus falloff to keep the space abstract but familiar. Problem solving like this makes these projects extra rewarding.
