20 years of getting more butts on bikes 🚲✨
What started in 2006 as a small spark has grown into a true community pillar… powered by passionate individuals, collaboration, @renobikeproject members across Reno and the Truckee Meadows and let’s be honest: fun spirited shenanigans. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’re looking ahead to a full year of events, connections, and big milestones.

Thank you for riding with us. Here’s to building the next 20 years together.

Big fan of social rides during the week. Bikes are a solid way to enjoy your week and not live only on the weekends. @lilrenoride #reno #bike #socialride #adventure

I had a lovely time attending a film (hosted by @gearhutreno & @craftreno ) celebrating a super rad individual who had passed but has brought strangers together and promoting lots of local groups where one can meet others, not be so alone, and live life to the fullest in one of the most beautiful parts of our country. We also got to checkout the new bridge and play some hacky sack and take a quick dip in the river. #reno #bikes #city #sierra

Dude thinks he’s a dj or sum.

Thanks a bunch @bilbo_bags @kepdep and @dolmafather for letting me on the decks and everyone else for bopping around with me. Also huge thanks to everyone involved in setting up June playa 💕

‼️holy moly we’re SOLD OUT - if you RSVPed and cannot make it for any reason tonight, please “cancel” your booking so we can open that spot up for another!

Gear Hut is hosting a night of adventure, connection, and community in Reno. As our city grows, more people are searching for “their scene”. This event is an invitation to find yours. Enjoy a FREE screening of Sierra to Baker, a film celebrating human-powered adventure, environmental stewardship, and the shared values that bring outdoor communities together.

As we gather, we also hold space for recent losses in our mountain community, honoring those who’ve inspired us and reminding us why connection OFF the mountain matters. Come meet local groups, discover ways to get involved, and leave with new connections and a calendar full of ways to show up in Reno’s evolving “mountain town” community.

🗓️: Tuesday, June 9. Doors open at 5:45pm for a chance to play games, earn free raffle tickets, and meet local organizations. Film starts at 6:30pm. RSVP! Spots are limited! (We’re hosting at @craftreno so more than 18 of you can join 😅).

💕 While the event is FREE, we ask that you bring some cash for our fundraising raffle benefiting: Sierra Avalanche Center & Washoe County Search & Rescue team.
@savycenter @washoesar

🙏Special thanks to the production team for the permission to show the film: @tyndallwells @alex.kollar_ @coltonandrewjacobs @strattonmattesonlegacy and to @britney.in.gram for spearheading this event for Reno!

This weekend, we ride in remembrance of Alex Pretti. We will meet up at Mayberry Park at 12:00 this Saturday. All bikes are welcome, roll out at 12:30 and cruise downtown and back. ~10 miles on pavement.

2025 was a big year, and we wouldn’t change a thing. We teamed up with @evidaythings and @btchn.bikes for some awesome collabs, supported rad causes, hosted group rides and campouts, and crafted some sick custom bags and new patterns. Most importantly of all though we got to connect with so many rad humans and that is priceless. We hope you know that if you supported Nine Lives this year you helped make all this possible, we can’t wait to share what we have cooking for 2026💜

Big shout out to @lilrenoride for hosting the first annual #cranksgiving Reno. Definitely collected a decent amount of food and non-perishables for @eddy_house from lots of local markets keeping the money in our community for our community. #bicycle #cranksgiving

This was updated on Tuesday but with the additional moisture over night you can expect the trails to remain unrideable. If you have the itch to ride a bike make sure you roll up for Cranksgivingin partnership with the @lilrenoride
