Always a great day to extend The Streak in 60 degree weather in Manhattan with your senior on her official visit!

A beautiful weekend and great seeing the Cats in person do what they do best … dominate the Hawks on the gridiron.

Could not have asked for a better weekend or game. With @chasefreeland_ making his way to Manhattan from Fayetteville, and @erynn.freeland having already been accepted and received her out of state scholarship to eliminate out of state costs, the sky got a little darker shade of purple this weekend.

Thank you to our favorite Kimley-Horn interns @zoe.spicy and @piperm_03 for spending time with us and getting Erynn and Chase into the student section - what a great experience!

A beautiful Family Weekend in Fayetteville!

We spent Friday on Erynn’s official tour (thank you @marandaoverholt) and took in an amazing dinner at @hugosfayetteville,
finishing off the night with some incredible SEC volleyball vs Auburn.

On Saturday, it was awesome getting a tour of the @uarkpike house (right on the edge of Dickson Street) and meeting so many of his friends in the house. And of course, always fun to be on campus for a night football game (and a win!)

Pike Dad’s Weekend should be a blast in November!

25 Years!

We took a week to celebrate the milestone and what a week it was. We had never done the all-inclusive in Mexico until now and @secretsakumalresort was everything you could ask for.

Rachel planned the perfect trip at the perfect resort:

✅ Three distinct resort pools
✅ Ocean side cabanas
✅ Seven restaurants, seven amazing genres
✅ Live entertainment and shows every night
✅ We did a sushi class, a guacamole class, and a tequila class
✅ We experienced our first cave dive and toured Tulum
✅ Incredible staff and service

Hopefully we’ll get back again before our 50th!

An epic Easter with an inspiring service from @ryaneross, perfect weather, and a 22-person table of family and friends on the back patio. A blessed day and @lilscoops.rwf was the MVP again building both a banner for the 50,000 egg @citychurchmelissa Egg Hunt and the beautiful backdrop for Easter services, while still having time to prepare an amazing meal.

This song finished out our service and has been in my head all day … a fitting reminder we bow before the King, on this day, and every day, of the year.

Happy Birthday Scoops!

It was hard to find all the photos I wanted to post that illustrate your so many facets as a wife, a friend, a mother, and a partner in crime but I did especially like these that show your spirit, your work ethic, and our relationship.

Let’s all raise a glass to the woman of a thousand faces - a woman who can end the day elegantly dressed for a night out after working outside and covered in grease all morning after previously quietly reading over a cup of coffee as the sun rises while building a backdrop and also painting a sign for an event that a friend asked her to do last minute with time to cook an amazing meal as she sips on a glass of wine while saving us money doing extremely difficult car repairs and likely fixing a leak using ChatGPT to solve a hundred questions … all on the same day.

Every day with you is an adventure and I can’t imagine building a life with anyone else … I love you!

ARK Family Weekend!

Other than a little rain and a 3-pt loss, a great time in Fayetteville for a first look at Chase’s first semester at Arkansas!

A fantastic road trip with great friends and always fun catching up with so many wonderful Collin County families at the tailgate hosted by @marlo.r.robertson.

The weekend was capped by a beautiful cool fall morning of worship @crosschurch and brunch before heading back.

Let’s do it again soon!

Started the day with the great friends cheering on the Bears and ended the night celebrating an amazing couple with the cool kids. A long, full day of fun and beauty comes to an end and I am thankful. #sicem #thewills #godiskindandgood
