from a falcon to a cavalier, to a college graduate. it’s been a long ride and i am gonna miss my family with my whole heart. growing as a person with all of you by my side has made this infinitely more exciting. i don’t know who i’d be today without you all. i love you guys #4 out ❤️❤️

Our first trip to the 7s National Championship was a great experience for these young ladies!

They showed nothing but heart, growth, and resilience.

Thank you to the seniors for everything you have done for this team, you’ve left your mark and some pretty big shoes to fill!

That’s a wrap on the 2025/2026 season… stay tuned for fun updates throughout the summer. Before you know it the Cavs will be back and ready to go in the fall!

my uncle pat died. my mom had me at 18 and we lived with my grandma for a while so i got to grow up with him. he was 8 when i was born, only 8 years older than me, like he was an older brother. he used to say he remembers the day i was born because they announced over the speakers at school “congratulations patrick, you’re an uncle now!” i remember once being really young and asking him if he and my other uncle were my brothers. my grandma said “no, they’re your moms brothers so that makes them your uncles”. and i just shrugged and said “same thing”. i don’t have any older siblings so he was the first person i bothered to play with me when he had a girl over, he was the first person to scare me and tease me like i was a little sister. he once told me dog treats tasted good and i should try one (they didn’t). he let me play his guitar hero then laughed when i did bad and the game would start booing at me. he was the first person to ever smoke weed with me, one of my favorite nights of my life and one of my best memories with him. as we both got older we grew apart but he always made it a point to at least say happy birthday and make it to holidays to see us. this is my first time experiencing a close loss and it feels so strange. i feel like im losing an older brother in a way. one of my first best friends as a little kid. i’m gonna miss ya, uncle cheese. it’s been real.
