my SoTD debut!! 🥹 i am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make my debut in She Kills Monsters. this show was filled with joy, love, and inside jokes that will last a lifetime. i met so many incredible people and created so many important friendships. thank you to every person who was involved in this and made the whole show welcoming and supportive. i grew so much in this short rehearsal process and learned so much about my craft. bugbear and tiamat forever 🧌♾️

It was a pleasure to clown around with this amazing cast and crew every night. This was such a special story to tell about grief, womanhood, friendship, and love. Gonna miss all the laughter this show brought! (and definitely going to miss the beholder head!)

With our D&D adventure embarking just days away, here is the cast of our fall blackbox play, She Kills Monsters!

She Kills Monsters follows Agnes Evans as she prepares to leave her childhood home after the death of her parents and teenage sister, Tilly. While packing up her sister’s room, Agnes discovers a custom Dungeons & Dragons module written by Tilly. Seeking closure and a better understanding of the sibling she feels she never truly knew, she enlists the help of a local Dungeon Master, Chuck, to play through the game. What begins as a search for connection becomes a high-energy journey into the fantasy world that served as Tilly’s refuge. Filled with homicidal fairies, fearsome ogres, and ‘90s pop culture, this fast-paced dramatic comedy is a heartfelt tribute to the geek and the warrior within us all.

Heathers was an amazing show and I’m proud to have been a part of it thank you to all the people who have been so kind and friendly throughout and putting up with my RIDICULOUSNESS, and remember don’t be a stranger and GET AWAY NEEEERD. Love all my jits good luck in all your endeavors!!!! Universal with my FP babies was absolutely amazing and I’m glad it made it out of the group chat love you and I’m ready for next semesters shows BOOYAAAH. Thank you and goodnight - Gabby Z ;)

Dear Diary,

It’s been a whole week since Heathers ended, and I still don’t think my brain has fully processed it. Friends doesn’t feel like the right word for these people anymore. They’re family.

Never in a million years did I imagine my very first time directing a show would be an experience this special. From one of the most packed auditions I’ve ever seen, to the most hype preview in GCP history, to a completely sold out final week, and ultimately becoming the best selling show of the season. This show has been nothing short of a blessing.

I’ll remember the laughs at rehearsal. The late nights. I’ll remember listening to the audience lose their minds over something we had spent months creating. I’ll cherish my moment as the last Steve. You guys will always be my first!

Thank you to every single person who poured their time, talent, energy, and heart into this show. To my cast, my crew, my production team, and everyone who supported us along the way- I genuinely could not have asked for a better group of humans to take this journey with.

I walked into this show hoping to direct a good production.

I walked away with memories, a million stories, and a family.

So I guess this is my final Dear Diary entry… for now.

Thank you, Westerburg. Thank you, GCP. And thank you to every person who made this little beautiful, chaotic, ridiculous, heartbreaking, hilarious show what it was. ❤️💚💛💙

I love you and miss you all more than you know. 💙🖤

I’m not ready to say goodbye to this cast and crew. I had so many ups and downs throughout this production, but I’m so glad I powered through. I met the most supportive group in the entire world. I love you guys so much!

Dear Diary,
From June 1st to August 9th I have one of the best summer opportunities to meet these wonderful people and polish my craft. I wonder not have traded this experience for everything and I’m so happy I auditioned. From the call backs to the read through I knew that this would be a summer I wouldn’t forget and I was right. So firstly I wanna thank @simply__sammii for giving me this chance and believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself for a good bit. Thank you and every cast and crew member for all the work and love you put into this show because over these past weeks I’ve met so many people in the crowd that have loved it and has made a difference in their lives. Also another thanks to Nicole, Arienne,Sarah, Molly and so many others that I might not remember. From working on choreography to figuring out blocking this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever been in. And I’m just so blessed to have met this wonderful group of people that I will never forget and hope to never grow apart From.

I will honestly miss so many things from this show and so many people that have made it a home for me and hope to work with these people again. They are my crazy family and I love them. So this is ✨Veronica Sawyer ✨signing off
