so much to be thankful for it’s been a great ride!!

Thank you, Peshtigo High School, for the best 13 years of my life. This place shaped me into the person I am today, and I’m so grateful for all of the experiences I’ve been a part of, the friendships I’ve built, the lifelong best friends and relationships I’ve made, and so much more.

As I walked across the stage, it was so heartwarming, but also incredibly sad to see this part of my life come to an end. But I can proudly say I’m leaving this place with zero regrets. If you know me, you probably know I showed up to everything, was one of the loudest people there, and always gave 100 percent in everything I was a part of. as I always said “it is what you make of it” and I pass that down to everyone else.

I would like to thank my parents for the endless hours spent at sports, school events, awards banquets, and school concerts — and for always pushing me to go to school even when I never wanted to lol. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this.

I also want to thank my long-term best friends, Rachel and Jaycee, for guiding me through everything I’ve done — whether that meant being a shoulder to cry on during major life events or showing up to a sport they knew nothing about just to support me. And Cami, thank you for being such an amazing friend and for always understanding me just by the look on my face. I’m going to miss you so much when I leave, and knowing you’ll still be here while I’m gone breaks my heart because I won’t get to see you every day anymore. You three mean more to me than words can describe.

Lastly, I want to give one final thank you to the teachers who inspired me to become a teacher myself. For the longest time, I never knew what I wanted to do when I grew up, but as I slowly reached this stage of life, I tried new things like student teaching and completely fell in love with teaching and helping people. Honestly, if you know me, that describes me perfectly. Without the teachers who pushed me to try something new, I wouldn’t be moving forward to become a teacher myself.

As I slowly start moving forward with my life, I’d like to say thank you, PHS, for making me me. I’ll see you again in 4 years ;) 🎓🍎📚
