ordered take out for my sissypooh @trees_trees_trees_ and i, from @jinglebaofresno 😋🤤🥟🥟🤌🏽👌🏽🤏🏽

we ordered:
veggie: tofu, shiitake, black fungus, glass noodle.
han gow - shrimp: encased in a translucent rice wrapper.
chicken: steamed dumplings filled with ground chicken, with subtle notes of napa cabbage and ginger.

we’re gonna have to try their other entrees in person coz noodles are life! 😋🤤🥰

they’re located on the corner of bullard & effie, run don’t walk! 🧡

Saved the best recap for last 💣

Background behind this banger: I threw a Wild’N Out party for my 29th birthday and gave the prompt CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE to the black squad for their R&Beef Remix.

They whooped feet in this challenge but the red squad ended overall victorious obviously, they had KajaNIQUE Cannon leading the way 🤭🤣🤣

Every last Saturday of August is Día de la Afrodescendencia Salvadoreña or the day we celebrate Afrodescendency in El Salvador. August is also our Black History Month.

Despite the state still not giving recognition to our our roots, the exclusions of our history in the Salvadoran education system, and structural racism our community faces we are here and we are proud.

Thank you to our ancestors who paved the way for us such as Prudencia Ayala or Franco Reyna. There is still a lot of history to learn but I’m proud of the community we’ve built.

Take the time to learn the real history. Learn about the importance of indigo, how our ancestors rebelled against the state, and ways we are keeping that spirit.

Check out some of the folks I’ve tagged. Feliz día compás!!
