In the most Lily Brezlin manner this post is so very late but to start of 2025 on a girlbossy note here are some of the pictures from my graduate collection “Don’t Get Your Knickers in a Twist” shot by the beautiful @elizzabeth.hunt for @ethereallmag.

Meet the artist!

Lily O’Briens work gives insight to the role women play in both domestic and public spaces with comical and sarcastic undertones of “hysterical” women.
The work is embedded with indicative Valentine’s Day themes through experimentation of colour, objects and dress. With Valentine’s Day receiving the highest volume of domestic abuse calls in Ireland, the work narrates a story of self defence through an act of revenge.
