I only ever wanted to achieve one thing in my wrestling career, and that was to have my picture in the wall of fame. I failed to do that, but I believe that doing so taught me a valuable life lesson that I am going to carry with me forever.
I believe that this sport is the toughest sport in man kind. You will never get the aspects of this sport anywhere else. The cutting weight, the eating meat and rice for the past 4 months, and practices that push you so hard you want to quit. From feeling like you’re never going to win another match to becoming a state qualifier. I’ve gone through all of this and I still didn’t achieve my goal. And I think that really gave me an edge in life.

I want to thank the boys that believed in me, my family that never stopped supporting me, the coaches that pushed me to my breaking limits, but most importantly God, this is all his plan and you shall not second guess. This isn’t exactly a goodbye, but a see you later. Thank you.

Thank you youth hockey. I still can’t fully accept that it’s over, but somehow it is. Through every happy moment, every loss, every injury, and every tough day, this game gave me memories I’ll carry forever. I would never trade those moments or those people for anything. Hockey was more than just a sport to me it was a huge part of who I am. Saying goodbye to something that meant this much is the hardest thing I’ve had to do.
I’m going to miss it more than words can explain.
Thank you for everything, youth hockey. The hardest goodbye. 🤍
