Marathon, Sharefest, local council members, community members, and school volunteers came together to install a reading garden on the campus of Del Amo Elementary school in Carson, which fulfilled a dream of Ms. Meni, a teacher at Del Amo ES. “It’s always been on my mind to be able to use this beautiful space that we have here, and when the Principal told me last year that we may be getting Sharefest to come out and create a reading garden I wanted to cry.” Ms. Meni saw firsthand just how grateful her students were for this garden - “You should have seen my kids yesterday just to see the gardeners bringing in the materials and the trees. They were literally jumping for joy because I told them that when they come back on Monday, they’re gonna see this whole area transformed into something we can use this year and beyond.”
Sharefest joins in gratitude with Ms. Meni and the students of Del Amo Elementary, as this project is one of many that we’ve partnered with @marathonpetroleum to complete throughout last year. Thank you @olgato & Marathon for all you’ve done to invest in childhood education throughout Carson!

Almost a week ago was the most beautiful holiday event for an incredible company filled with incredible people. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to create florals in geometric vase goodness, with a focus of cream, gold, burgundy and lit up magic. Couldn’t have done with without the design and structure building and hands of folks I love. Please take a look at this and let’s chat about your next event. Big thank you to @limberofficial for creating this reel that I’ve watched 100 times already. Haha.
