Currently overwhelmed by the administrative requirements of having dreams.

The irony of feeling anxious about not being “productive” while actively trying to heal the parts of me that equate a certain kind of productivity with worth. 🙃

I’m going to Egypt to explore my divinity.

That’s a sentence I probably wouldn’t have written a few months ago.

I’ve been thinking about how readily I learned to recognize divinity in men. God. The Father. The Son. The priest. The pastor. The head of the household.

And how rarely I was given images of feminine divinity with equal authority.

Not just the nurturing feminine.

The sovereign feminine.

The erotic feminine.

The creative feminine.

The destructive feminine.

The feminine who gives life—and the feminine who says, this ends here.

I don’t think religion is inherently the enemy. In fact, I’m finding myself believing in spirituality and magic again. Because for the first time, I can actually see myself in it.

I can see spirituality as something I inhabit rather than something I submit to.

I’m becoming curious about what centuries of predominantly male authority have done to our collective imagination.

What happens when one expression of humanity gets to represent God, authority, leadership and spiritual wisdom for generations?

And what happens when women begin remembering ourselves as sacred, too?

I’m not suggesting replacing one hierarchy with another.

I’m interested in restoring something that’s been missing: Counterbalance.

The full spectrum of feminine power.

So I’m going to Egypt.

To stand in temples built for goddesses.

To learn.

To listen.

To feel what happens in my body when the divine looks a little more like me.

Pilgrimage isn’t always about finding God.

Maybe sometimes it’s about discovering that you were never separate from the sacred in the first place.

And yes, apparently THIS is how my Venus retrograde is starting. 😉

Today’s reflection: Healing ❤️‍🩹 is discovering all the places you’re still making yourself smaller — even when no one is asking you to.

Learning to take up space. Literally. 🖤

I am not just peace.

I am destruction.

I am not interested in a version of the feminine that asks me to be endlessly soft, receptive, forgiving and pleasant.

Sometimes love nurtures.

Sometimes love creates.

Sometimes love receives.

And sometimes love bares her teeth and says:

This ends here.

There are things in me that needed tenderness.

And there are things in my life that needed to be destroyed so something more honest could grow in their place.

I’m learning to honor both.

The woman who dances.

The woman who rests.

The woman who loves.

And the lioness who knows when it’s time to burn something down.

Maybe wholeness was never about becoming more peaceful.

Maybe it was about no longer abandoning any part of myself in order to appear that way.

Healing doesn’t always look like sitting quietly with your feelings.

Sometimes it looks like dancing half-naked in your bathroom after a shower. 💃

I’m a deeply kinesthetic person. I process through my body. I move emotions through movement, dance, touch, sensation, expression.

And I’m realizing how much of that I learned to contain.

Because when it stops feeling safe to express your joy, your desire, your anger, your aliveness—you learn to push her down.

Meanwhile, producing is rewarded.

Being useful is rewarded.

Taking care of everyone else is rewarded.

Performing the version of womanhood that makes life easier for everyone around you is rewarded really fucking well.

And then we wonder why so many of us feel disconnected from ourselves.

I’m not free of every attachment. I’m not “healed.” I’m not arriving at some final version of myself where none of this touches me anymore.

But I am letting go of one attachment that kept asking me to abandon myself.

And damn, it feels good.

Because healing, for me, isn’t something I accomplish once.

I get to come back to myself.

I get to listen to my body.

I get to make amends to the parts of me I’ve abandoned.

I get to choose myself again.

Every fucking day. ❤️

I looked up at the Moon tonight and noticed she’d changed again.

I’ve been watching her every night—crescent, almost quarter, exactly quarter, and now just beyond it.

And I’ve been changing too.

My emotions shift. My energy shifts. Life moves. And there’s something grounding about looking up and remembering that I’m part of a rhythm that is moving whether I’m paying attention to it or not.

This is one of the things I love about astrology.

The cosmos aren’t an abstraction. The Moon is real. Saturn is real. The planets are real. They’re moving through actual space while we’re moving through our actual lives.

We already orient ourselves around one celestial body every single day. 🌞 We wake, work, eat, sleep, plant and organize our lives in relationship to the Sun and its rhythms.

For me, paying attention to the rest of the sky is another way of practicing presence.

I don’t have to believe that every feeling I’m having was caused by the Moon to stop, look up, notice where she is—and notice where I am.

Maybe that’s part of what astrology can offer us.

Not an escape from reality.

A way of rooting ourselves more deeply within it. 🌙✨

I invite you to a moment of presence.

Sit outside. Smell the grass and the rain.

This is Mother Earth.

And yes that’s @chaninicholas that I’m watching! #badbitch

Also. Don’t take it too seriously 😂

I cleaned out more than my house this weekend.

Closets. Drawers. My nightstand. Yes, even the sex toy drawer. 😂

But some of what I found wasn’t really clutter.

It was memory.

Things I’d been avoiding because looking at them meant revisiting versions of myself—and periods of my life—that still carry a lot of feeling.

And then, because apparently the metaphor needed to become literal, the shelves I’d hung fell out of the wall—along with the potted plants 🪴 they were holding.

Turns out they weren’t actually anchored. They’d been screwed straight into the drywall.

🙃

I’m still too tired to know exactly what I want to say about all of this.

Something about clearing.
Something about remembering.
Something about discovering what isn’t actually anchored when you finally ask it to hold weight.

And something about choosing, consciously, what I want to carry forward.

This Lionsgate weekend has felt intensely physical and emotional for me. Maybe there’s something cosmic happening. Maybe I was simply ready. Maybe both.

I don’t need to decide tonight.

For now, I’m going to enjoy the space I made. ✨

I think I’ve misunderstood my North Node for years.

If you’re not into astrology, the North Node is often described as a growth edge—the qualities we’re learning to develop over a lifetime.

Mine is in Leo.

And some people see Leo as wanting attention.

I didn’t.

The idea of “being seen” actually made me uncomfortable.

I’m practical. Analytical. Skeptical.

Give me evidence.
Give me competence.
Give me a plan.

I don’t want attention.

I want contribution.

I want to share things that light me up.

I want to be in conversation with people who care about the same things I care about.

I want to teach.

I want to create.

I want to put ideas into the world and see what happens.

My Leo North Node is not asking me to become important.

Maybe it’s asking me to stop hiding behind certainty before sharing what I know.

Maybe it’s asking me to trust my voice.

Whether you’re into astrology or not, I’m curious:

Have you ever realized something you thought you wanted was actually pointing to a deeper need underneath?

And for my astrology friends—what’s your North Node, and what part of it have you resisted?
