Turns out our story started here long before we said hello. Same campus, different worlds, and somehow it led us right back to each other. 💍 08.15.26 📸 @limitless_lie

Creating cakes for the people you love hits a little different 🤍

I had the honor of creating this beautiful floral wafer paper cake for one of my college bestie’s bridal shower celebration. From the embossed details to the delicate florals and hand cut wafer paper shreds, this one was such a joy to bring to life ✨

My first Cake Decorating Class is officially in the books 🎀

For the Buttercream & Bows workshop, I wanted to create an experience where everyone could learn, get creative, and have fun. Watching each person transform a blank cake into something uniquely their own was easily my favorite part of the day.

Thank you to everyone who attended and trusted me to share my craft with you. Seeing your finished cakes and smiling faces made all the preparation worth it.

The next class date is still being finalized, but after this one, there will definitely be another.

Special thank you to the best in the business @limitless_lie for capturing these moments throughout the class 🫶🏾

Officially apart of the 9% of black women that hold a masters degree. You know I had to double it! 🤭

Losing my brother in 2020 really put me through the wringer but learning how to move through him and his legacy is what pushes me to be the absolute greatest. They say you should go to therapy before obtaining a Masters in Social Work and they are so right! Truthfully, everyone should go to therapy. You don’t need a loss or a traumatic event to be the only reason you decide to seek help. Everyday we face situations and consider ourselves “strong” for “dealing” but if you don’t address the elephant in the room soon you’ll be squashed by it.

I’m so thankful for all of the support, sweet messages and kind words I’ve received over the past week (before that as well) and it feels amazing to step into my purpose!

As long as I live, everything for Davon! & ME! ❤️🪽⚡️

On May 17th, 2026, I graduated from the University at Albany School of Social Welfare with my Masters Degree in Social Work. From the city to state to hospital setting I have seen too many instances of injustice and inequity occur without a second thought. Being a change maker is something I knew that I was destined for at an early age. The Program for Girl’s and Young Women in the Bronx instilled a sense of community justice, passion and fearlessness within me that I hope to be able to inspire in the young lives I will be working with in the future. There’s so much work to be done and I’m excited to get in the field!

Side note: The time is going to pass anyways so go get that degree, learn that skill and tell your people you love them!

The Sky is the Limit🌄

Thank you @ualbany . Since 2022, I’ve grown into a stronger, wiser, and more confident young woman. These years came with so many memories, lessons, laughs, challenges, and even tears that helped shape me along the way. It’s beautiful looking back and seeing just how much I’ve changed. Forever grateful for this chapter and excited for everything ahead💛💜🐾
