a slow burn is an experience that requires enough time to reveal itself, usually stewing to a breaking point—

first ever show with @ntumj, a short burst of 7 weeks to make it happen. thank you for taking the leap of faith together as I learn to trust myself too.

grateful for the opportunity to know more of you, and learn so many new processes along the way. thank you for welcoming me this whole year and for building together. it’s a privilege I don’t take for granted. I was reminded of when I started taking my own dance journey seriously in university, and the kind of community and warmth that we can build only in our youth. we have something special here, let’s water it with care🚰🌱🤍

thank you everyone who supported the dancers and project in your own ways. we are lucky to have the village we need and hope you enjoyed the show!

21 💛🌻 - a year that doesn’t look like perfection, but redemption.
God found me when I was tired of holding my life together on my own. I remember vividly asking him at the start of the year, “God if I’m going to surrender it all to you, promise me you will sustain me and place people in my life to support me…”and so he did. He surrounded me with a community who loved me like He does, and taught me that renewal doesn’t mean erasing the past, but being restored through it. It’s truly crazy, what he has done for my life.
I never never never want to stop saying yes to His love.

‘You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing… and clothed me with joy.’ — Psalm 30:11
