🎨 Art brings us together.

Community keeps us connected.

We just wrapped up our Instagram interview with Mel Vera Cruz—and tonight, come experience his work in person!

Join us at our gallery, Art Frame Studio by Paolo Mejia, TONIGHT from 7–9 PM. See the artwork, meet your neighbors, and support local creativity.
@paolomejiaartgallery

👀 You never know—Mel himself might stop by! His appearance isn’t confirmed, but his artwork is here for you to enjoy throughout October.

🇵🇭 October is Filipino American History Month—a time to recognize Filipino American history, creativity, and contributions. Come celebrate with us and show your support!

Community matters to us.

That’s why we’re building “Castro Street art conversations,” co-hosted by Coach Ed, and inviting restaurants and businesses along Castro Street to host future events.

Our goal: bring artists, local businesses, and neighbors together through art and conversation.

I have to say, I know @limonrestaurants has been around for a while, but this location is personally my favorite! ✨

I found this place about a year ago, and since then, I’ve brought my family here several times. I’ve always said I wanted to make a video specifically for this location, and I finally got the chance to do it! 🥹

From the moment you walk in and are greeted by their team, you can tell they genuinely care. Everyone is so welcoming and kind!

When I go to a restaurant, it’s not just about the food. It’s also about how the people make you feel, the atmosphere, and how well they take care of you!

If you haven’t been to this location specifically, I highly recommend giving it a try! And if you do, let me know what you think.

••• 09.14.26 ••• backkkk at it to wish you all a happy #NationalSoberDay!!🙌🏼💟

I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus, trying to heal and find my footing through one of the darkest seasons of my life. I’m still figuring things out one step at a time, but what better day to make my return?!💫🥳🥂

I celebrated with a solo date night right here in my backyard. I started at @limonrestaurants with a fun mocktail and yummy seafood, then popped into @sipeos.co, one of my go-to places for non-alcoholic gems, where I enjoyed a few draaaanks and a sweet treat.🍹🍽️🐙🍯🌿🥂🍨

This season has tested me in ways I never thought possible. But even in my darkest moments, I’ve continued to choose recovery, which ultimately means choosing myself. I’ve fiercely protected my sobriety for 4+ years, and I am incredibly proud of that.

Sobriety hasn’t spared me from pain, but it has given me the clarity and courage to face it without abandoning myself.

There is a quiet strength in choosing recovery every day, especially when no one else sees it. Today, and throughout National Recovery Month, we honor every choice, boundary, hard day survived, and new memory made with a clear mind and an open heart.🫶🏼

September is also National Suicide Prevention Month, and mental health and recovery are deeply connected. Both have taught me to reach for support, forgive myself for what I didn’t know, the mistakes I made, and the ways I learned to survive, and remember that even when life feels unbearably dark, my life still matters and has value.

And so does yours. Your life matters. You matter. You are important and irreplaceable. You are worthy. You bring something to this world that no one else can.🩵💜

If you’re walking this path alongside me, give yourself a hug or a pat on the back. Be gentle with yourself. If someone you love is on this journey, check on them, celebrate them, and remind them that they’re not alone.

Happy National Sober Day, besties, and shoutout to everyone who supports us!! I see you, I love you, and I am proud of you.🥹💛✨
