PROTEGO is now on SoundCloud.

First up, we’re sharing the sets by @laimaadelaide and @lin_da_mann, recorded at PROTEGO in March.

Making her DJ debut in Japan, Laima Adelaide delivered a two-hour set rooted in deep, minimal territory, gradually drawing the dancefloor in through subtle shifts and carefully paced progression.

Lindamann’s one-hour live set shaped a distinct form of minimalism through solid rhythms and deep spatial processing. With very little of his live work previously available online, this is a rare recording of his performance.

More recordings from PROTEGO will follow.

☉ Mix 23: @yuta_ldg

YUTA inhabits the terrain of hypnotic, psychedelic techno, letting groove lead the way. His mix moves with cinematic poise weaving tribal pulses, mental layers and acid-tinged detail across immersive, break-driven structures.

Week 27 ⥁ My finds of the week:

1. MORDIO - Eye Contact With A Smile [Symbiosis]
Some sets have amazing opening vocals that immediately draw attention and put your mind into place. This is one.
2. Fields of Mist - Masters Of The Known Universe! [ITX004]
Such a comforting, minimalistic track.
3. Lindamann - 침전 Chimjeon [OSC009]
I didn’t know what to choose from this album. All the tracks are absolutely amazing for ambient, trippy, minimal, hypnotic and tenseful build-up. Check the entire album out.
4. Kerouac - The Method [Constant Black]
Really calming and loungy minimal house.
5. Sindh - Quarks [Vagali EP]
Minimal hypno to take you on a mindtrip.
6. FA:B - Nam Sul [XDIG02]
Not all tracks need to be a banger. This one has a nice switch of rhythms and keeps things going in a set.
7. Oscar Mulero - Echoes Of The Cosmos [RELATIVITY0.5]
The Don. A trippy, spacey track to capture your mind. There’s another amazing opening track on this EP, check it out.
8. Vakat - Looking For Solution [NWHITE022]
Hypnotic roller with a nice drop. For the mind and the body.
9. Konstantin Kost & Kelvin Belton - Hells Angel (Kill Acid On Space Remix) [Different Exhibition]
High-energy 4x4, but hypnotic, with so much going on. This is for peak-time dancing. Preferably in a dark club with your eyes closed.
10. Alarico - Ultrasound (Sad Mix) [MRS-004]
A groovy, melancholic track to bring back down the intensity of a set.

I’m really happy and excited to be part of such a long-standing podcast series as Deep Electronics, alongside so many artists and producers I’ve admired for years. 🙏🌌

I recorded this set during the Christmas holidays, while revisiting “Invisible Cities” by Italo Calvino. The imaginary city of Ottavia — suspended over the abyss, held together by ropes and bridges — came up as the main inspiration. ✨

I tried to bring that sense of balance into the mix: something built on restraint and space, where subtle rhythms and textures create a feeling of weightless motion. 🪐🌬️

A huge “thank you” to Jeroen for inviting me to join the Deep Electronics podcast series. I hope you’ll enjoy this trip!
