FIGHTING CREATIVE BLOCK

What was with the weather today? The whole reason for coming out of hibernation is to enjoy the summer sun and stop wearing socks and jackets everyday. Yet today I kept reaching for blankets to cover my legs while I worked, ate a lot of snacks 🙈and took many breaks to stand in the sun.

Despite the cold, I kept returning to my work and eventually found the energy to keep going. That’s basically how I deal with creative block. Sometimes, I can’t create anything. So I take breaks, I eat something, I forgive myself and I get back to work when and however I can. It won’t be forever, eventually you’ll find your drive again. How do you deal with creative block?

Also, here’s the final portrait of @linacky_andreas , check my IGTV for the progress video in case you missed it!
